The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret

Chapter 376 A Night to Remember

Frey couldn't tell when Nathaniel had renovated the abandoned lighthouse. The spiral staircase and surrounding walls were adorned with twinkling stars.

She held her breath, feeling as if she were in a distant, starry sky.

Slowly, she ascended the stairs, marveling at the ethereal beauty that seemed too magical for this world.

Hand in hand, Nathaniel led her to the top of the tower.

The room was small, barely three or four square meters, with a balcony outside.

Carefully, he helped her step onto the balcony, where they stood more than ten meters above the ground, facing the vast sea.

"Close your eyes," Nathaniel whispered in her ear, his voice deep and maic.

Frey trembled slightly as he gently covered her eyes, her thick eyelashes brushing against his palm, sending a shiver of excitement through him. After a moment, Nathaniel removed his hand, laughing softly, "Open them!"

Frey slowly opened her eyes to see a swarm of drones lighting up the dark blue sky, performing a light show just for her.

The show depicted scenes from their past. Which were their first meeting, cycling together through sunflower fields, and their first kiss in a rose garden.

Each scene was brought to life by the drones, a performance that must have cost a fortune.noveldrama

As Frey watched in awe, a light appeared in the sea below, growing larger until it revealed countless fishing boats, their bright lights forming a ring around the lighthouse.

Finally, a small drone delivered a basket of roses to them.

Nathaniel picked up a velvet box from the basket and revealed a diamond ring. Frey recognized it immediately as the one she had used to propose to Nathaniel on a cliff in Stanna, the Eternity Diamond.

Kneeling before her, Nathaniel looked up and asked, "Ms. Frey, will you marry me?" This was his second proposal on bended knee. Overwhelmed, Frey extended her hand. With tears threatening to spill, Nathaniel slipped the ring onto her finger, sealing their bond. She was his now, forever. No matter what happened, this ring would keep them together.

As the starlight faded, Nathaniel held

her hand tightly, stroked her cheek, and leaned in to whisper in her ear, gently nibbling her earlobe. "Frey, let's live a good life together and never be apart again, okay?"

Frey, regaining her composure, replied, "Okay."

Nathaniel kissed her lips and pulled her into a tight embrace.

Not far from the lighthouse, in a Hummer, Peyton watched the scene of Nathaniel's proposal on her phone. She couldn't help but exclaim, "It's so romantic! Wow!"

The driver, Koen, glanced at her with a smile, "What? Do you want a proposal like that too?"

Peyton hesitated, then shrugged, "It's too expensive."

Koen laughed, gripping the steering

wheel tightly, "That's because he hasn't met a woman he truly loves. When a man finds someone he loves, he'll spare no expense to make her happy."
