"Melissa, you shouldn't get involved with Robin. It could backfire on you!" Zayn halted, pretending to be worried.
He couldn't reveal anything about Robin or Joanna's true identities.
In truth, he secretly hoped that Melissa and her uncle would stir up trouble for Robin,
Even if they couldn't harm Robin, at least it would make him uncomfortable.
But Zayn knew he had to stay out of it. If his grandfather or father found out, it would cause a huge problem.
His naive sister, Catherine, would be even worse. If she learned of his intentions toward Robin, she'd tear him apart.
Seeing his uneasy expression, Melissa smiled. "It doesn't concern you. If anything happens, my uncle will handle it."
"Fine, then. I have other matters to take care of. We can talk another time." Zayn quickly ushered Michelle into the car and drove off.
He smirked, thinking, your uncle will just send his life to Robin!
Michelle frowned, feeling anxious. "Zayn, if Melissa goes through with this, someone could get killed. Robin isn't someone to mess with."
"No, he's not just tough-he's a monster!" Zayn sneered. "But it's not our problem. This is the Fields' issue.'
He warned her, "Just stay away from Melissa."
Michelle hesitated before asking, "Zayn, should I try talking some sense into her?"
Zayn replied coldly, "Don't get involved with her. Don't forget what happened to the Fioris and the Sontags!"
She finally understood. "Zayn, do you really want to let her make things worse?"
He shook his head. "They're not idiots. They'll handle it their way. If she wants to go after Robin, let her."
At 5:00 p.m., Wesson, the division head, brought Robin to the interrogation hall of the Anti-Corruption Division at the Inspection Bureau.
As soon as he entered, he saw Joanna from a distance.
Two officers from the Bureau were roughly pushing her around.
"Hurry up! Do you think this is your home where you can take your time?" a female officer scolded.
"It's already after hours, and we have to deal with scum like you. It's so annoying."
Joanna was angry. "You have no evidence! Why treat me like this?"

"Do you think you deserve dignity? What dignity do you have?" The female officer, in her late 20s, sneered and pointed at Joanna.noveldrama
"Get in there and confess how you got that high scholarship by sleeping with people for favors!" Tears filled Joanna's eyes. "You're so unethical and disrespectful!"
"How dare you insult me!" The officer raised her hand and slapped Joanna.
"Women like you, with no morals, don't deserve to live!"
Robin stepped forward and grabbed the officer's wrist. "Apologize to my sister!"
The woman screamed in pain. "Ah! Help! Murder!"
The scene in the interrogation hall immediately caught everyone's attention.
Wesson was startled. Four officers stood frozen, looking at Robin, who had just appeared in front of Joanna.
Wesson shouted, "Robin, what are you doing? She's Tracy Lopez, head of the Economic Investigation Department! Let go of her!"
"Robin, how did you get in here?"
Joanna's eyes widened in alarm as she spotted Robin. Pointing instinctively at the officers behind him, she blurted out, "Did they arrest you too?"
Robin offered a calm smile. "Don't worry. If they're looking for trouble, I'll gladly oblige."
Wesson hurried over, his voice sharp with authority. "Robin, release her! Ms. Lopez is the head of the Economic Investigation Department!"
Ignoring Wesson's demand, Robin tightened his grip on Tracy's wrist. His tone was icy as he asked, "Have you officially proven Joanna committed a crime?"
"You have no right to question me! Ah-let go! It hurts!" Tracy struggled frantically, her face contorted in pain.
"Let go of me now!" she shrieked. "Law enforcement has the right to shoot you on the spot!"
Robin remained unmoved by her threats, his grip firm. "Answer me! If you refuse, I swear you won't walk out of here unscathed."
Tracy let out a desperate scream. "There's... still no solid proof!"
Robin scoffed. "No evidence, yet you treat my sister like a criminal? You'e so vile!"
Through gritted teeth, Tracy snapped, "She-she's guilty! The proof will come sooner or later!"
Robin's eyes flashed with disgust. "You're just spouting nonsense!" Swiftly, he tore at her collar. "By your logic, I could accuse you of prostitution right now!"
"You pervert!" Tracy shrieked hysterically.

Robin smirked darkly. "Pervert? Let me show you just how bad I can be!"
Without hesitation, he lifted her and hurled her into the massive fish tank in the center of the hall. 72%

The glass shattered on impact, sending water gushing across the floor as Tracy collapsed onto the ground, drenched and humiliated.
Robin took out a wet wipe, cleaning his hands with visible disdain. "If you're so eager to die, I can make it happen right now."
Turning to the blue-clad guards, he ordered, "In two minutes, I want every detail of her employment records and work history. I need to see if this so-called public official has any right to speak of justice and law!"
Wesson stood frozen, unable to believe Robin had just assaulted Tracy in front of everyone.
Robin's cold gaze swept across the room. "Bring your highest-ranking officer here! None of you have the authority to interrogate me."
Wesson finally regained his composure. "Robin, you have no right to make demands!"
Robin raised an eyebrow. "You're knee-deep in corruption and illegal dealings. What right do you have to interrogate Joanna or me?"
Wesson's confidence wavered. "W-What are you talking about? Do you have proof?"
Robin snorted. "Proof? Fine. Let's see if this is enough to bring you all down."
He gave a subtle signal to the blue-clad guards. Within moments, the display screen in the interrogation
hall lit up with incriminating evidence.
If that wasn't enough of a spectacle, he could always leak it online for the world to see.
The screen began playing a detailed report on Wesson and Tracy's crimes.
The first revelation was that Tracy had used forged diplomas to secure her position five years ago—and
had a long history of improper relationships with local officials.
A heavy silence fell over the hall.
