Rose’s POV

Come on, Rose,” Oliver voice was confident as I skipped along beside him, trying to keep up with his pace. “It’s time for your first run! You won’t ever experience a better feeling believe me! 1 remember my first ever run… didn’t want to go back inside! He chuckles, as I laugh at his statement.

“hurst follow my lead, and remember, you’ve got this. You already know how to shift easily now, so leave your clothes here with mine and we will come back for them when we are finished right? Oliver halts at a large cherry blossom tree, as I smile up at the pink flowers and nod.

I then closed my eyes, focusing on shifting, before feeling the odd sensation begin. Slowly, I felt my human form dissolve, replaced by the exhilarating rush of becoming my wolf self. My senses heightened, the work! transforming into a symphony of scents and sounds – before I successfully land down on all fours.

My paws feel soft against the smooth leaves, as I pad my feet around to embrace the new feeling. The gentle breeze then began to ruffle through my fur as I shiver and spin around to follow the wind in its movements….

I turn to find Oliver, now in his own darker brown wolf, as he yaps and joins in my excitement to go on my first ever run!

He gestures with his head for me to follow him, as I waste no time before padding alongside his wolf through the trees. His golden eyes glint with excitement as he glances over at me, his wagging tail a clear invitation to join him in the upcoming adventure. My heart pounded nervously, but his encouraging presence helped ease my anxiety… he was like a true friend to me now!

Oliver slows in his walk, before he nods for me to watch his next move. He lowers his front paws, inviting me to play along and copy him as I do just that,

With newfound confidence, I follow his swift movements, crouching down before springing forward and into a fast paced sprint…

The sensation of the forest floor beneath my paws was both foreign and exhilarating. My heart raced as I chased after Oliver, my wolf instincts guiding my every move. The wind rushed past me, and I reveled in the pure freedom of it all. For the first time in my life, I felt alive in a way I had never imagined possible.

We darted through the trees, our playful yaps echoing in the air as we constantly nipped at each other’s heels in our race. Oliver led me on a winding path around the outskirts of the pack territory, his guidance helping me navigate this new experience which so far, was perfect!

Eventually, we reached a serene spring water clearing as we slowed down for a break. The sun danced on the surface of the water, and the scent and sounds of nature surrounded us.

Oliver lapped up the cool water, and I followed suit,

As we rested for a few minutes, Oliver’s gaze met mine, a contented smile on his wolfish face. It was as if he understood the significance of this moment, the freedom and joy it brought to both me and my wolf.

With a playful nudge, Oliver signaled that it was time to head back again. We retraced our steps, our pace more leisurely as we savored the beauty of the forest and it’s floral variety.

Eventually, we reached the spot where we had left our clothes – behind the blushing pink cherry blossom tree!

Oliver glanced at me, his eyes soft with understanding. I’ll give you some privacy to change. I hear his voice fill my mind, causing my ears to perk up at the sudden realisation that he could mind–link me now tool

I didnt think we could talk through the link! I reply, moving behind the tress to find my clothes in their neatly folded pile from before. You’re an official member of this pack and you have a wolf now. you can pretty much link with anybody now Oliver explains in my r

As we strolled through the cobblestone streets, various stalls and shops lined the same road where they had been before, each one offering unique treasures and gifts. Oliver led me through the market, his familiarity with the place evident as he even stood and chatted to some of the stall owners.

Some where curious as to who I was, but Oliver just introduced me as his cousin -keeping my identity as the Alphas new mate hidden for now.

We completed the markets, moving next to approach a candy store which liver cited I tried some of the best sweets from….

Our exploration however, took an unexpected turn when we encountered a striking female woll stepping in and blocking our path towards the desired. sweet shop. Her hair was platinum blonde, much lighter than my own, stopping at her shoulden in loose curls.

She seemed to radiate confidence and charm, yet a tension hung in the air as she exchanged glances with Oliver–before her eyes darted over to me in disgust. I sensed something deeper bubbling beneath the surface, maybe some sort of hirery between them that I couldn’t quite decipher?

Heather’s gaze shifted to me again, and her smile turned into a sudden sneer. And who actly is shet Another lost line pup that you’re babysitting?” She mocks me, as I instinctively move to stand a little behind Oliver for comfer

My cheeks heat with embarrassment, her words like daggers to my pride. I glanced at Oliver, hoping for support seeing his expression grow stem, his voice unwavering. This is Rose, and she’s no pup. Show her some respect at least? “You’ll get bored of f*cking her eventually… and when you do, you’ll beg for someone bettersomeone like me! I mean, jest look at the marks covering her damn neck! She even smells like a whore!” Heather giggles, as my mouth drops open at her words.

I forgot that Ashton had left little bruise like marks all over my neck after last night… she must think that me and Oliver are together because I’m here with him! I’m not a whore! At least, I don’t think that I am?

I have a mate… maybe not my destined mate originally, but Ashton is my mate now nonetheless… we completed the whole bond together

Oliver growls slightly, pushing us past the female, taking me away from Heather’s presence, I couldn’t shake the feeling of unease that lingered, coupled with hurt by being called a whore and mocked for my lack of speech.

As we reached the familiar grounds though, I couldn’t hide my emotions any longer. Tears welled up in my eyes, and a frustrated sigh escaped my lip

Oliver stopped and turned to me as we entered the gates, his concern evident. “Hey, are yısı okay?”

The Bloodgates opened, and i found myself pouring out my feelings to him. “I don’t understand… Why was she so mean to me? I’ve never done anything to her, and yet she treated me like I is beneath her. It renunded in of my old pack………… I didn’t think any of the people here where like that! Erob, as
