Ashton’s POV

“Glad you could all make it at such short notice gentleman!” I announce, pacing back and forth across the meeting room as my seven most trusted wolves remain seated around the large table.

I was currently twenty minutes late to my own meeting, having had to run Rose another hot bath to ease the ache between her legs from last nights assault…

The thought alone makes my slacks grow tighter, as I try desperately to ignore my hardening member when thinking about my mate and how we had f*cked for the second time last night….

“So what happened exactly Alpha?” Ezra questions, as I tum to face the group – thankful for the distraction

Rogues infiltrated our border, and the closest border patrol members faced the brunt of their attack! Thankfully, none of our men were killed, however it could have been much worse as they were outnumbered to begin with!” I explain, as they all nod and follow along.

Ezra, orie of my most trusted pack advisors, leans forward, his expression growing serious. “Do we know why the rogues attacked, or at least who they are?” He questions, as I lean onto the table for support.

1 sigh, my frustration evident. “They claim to be from the Eclipse Pack…” I begin, as my men scoff and laugh from around the table – finding humour at the news.

“We know that it’s not just them working alone… we suspect that Derrick Colt is behind this incident. It’s a way for him to send us a message without getting his own hands dirty…” I grit out, as the mumbling grows quiet again around the room.

The others exchange knowing glances next. We were all too familiar with Derrick’s cunning ways and recent behaviour – believing to rule the country… over my dead f*cking body!

As the soon–to–be Alpha of the Moon Lust Pack, he had been a thorn in our side for far too long now. His alliance with packs like the Eclipse Pack was an attempt to bolster his own power and create chaos in the supernatural world… yet his strength could never be a match to mine!

“We currently have the rogues locked up in our cells- six in total. There was eight to begin with, however our pack guards had managed to kill two before I arrived. I continue, my voice firm. “We need to interrogate them and get more information about their connections and intentions. If Derrick is plotting something larger, we need to be prepared for whatever it is. I announce, as they agree.

Hunt clears his throat, leaning back, his fingers tapping on the table in thought. “We can extract information from them easily! Some of them might be stubborn, but I reckon with a few unique methods I could have them all singing their secrets like canaries!” He states boldly, as I smile in thought.

“Yes, from what I gathered they might be willing to die for their cause, making them harder to crack… but I could see the fear in their eyes.

eyes… they are f*cking terrified!” I explain, as Hunt smiles at my words – his eyes glinting with mischief.

“Let me help!” Hunt states, as I nod at the suggestion knowing there would be no better man for the job.

“Me too! Would love to torture a couple of rogues!” Sawyer adds, holding his hands up as though it were a common thing to sign up to

I nod, acknowledging their commitment to the pack. “We need to act swiftly. Our pack is the largest in the country, and we have a responsibility to protect our members, especially the women and children who are most vulnerable against those savages.” I announce, as the men all agree loudly.

Hunt then speaks up again, his voice laced with determination. “We can’t afford to be mesay when it comes to Derrick… he may be a coward, but he’s a persistent little f*cker! If plan A doesn’t work for him he will instantly try plan B and then C… Hunt explains, his face and tone showing his distaste for the man in question.

“That actly it. He will stop at nothing until he at least causes some damage for us! It’s one thing battling him

him in wars across the country but when it comes to them raiding our jack – I want him destroyed!” I rage, slamming a hand down on the table as I sit back in my seat.

“With that being said, I’m calling in our supporting packs. We could use as many extra numbers as we can get to furtify nur defenses. II Denick wants a wat, he’ll f*cking get it ‘I grit, as the men nod in understanding.

“In 1 the ball soon? Derrick is too f*cking proud not to go to Alpha Jacobus annual ball……..couldn’t we just bend the rules and snag him then??” Sawyer states, bringing the ball to light.

I should be expecting my invite any day now

I nod, appreciating his idea. “I’ve been in touch with the leaders of our supporting packs, and they already know about the threat we face. They’re us standby, and we’ll be coordinating our efforts closely. Our priority is to protect our land and our people. We won’t let Derricks thirst for power put our pack at risk… if he doesn’t bring this so called ‘war before the ball, then plan B is to end him there!” I conclude, leaving no room for question.

Derrick Colt will be brought to an end… not just for his war crimes, but for his mistreatment towards Rose during her time at his pack!

The mutt deserves nothing more than death!

As the conversation continues, we delved into the details of our strategies and plans – running through the many what if scenarios to ensure we are absolutely prepared for the worst.

It was a dangerous time for innocent wolves, and the stakes were high. The room was filled with a sense of urgency, each member of the board. understanding the gravity of the situation.

We couldn’t let Derrick Colt’s ambitions go unchecked. His cruelty and disregard for innocent lives had to be stopped.

We were prepared to do whatever it took to ensure that our pack remained safe, and we were prepared to kill any foolish person that chose to get in the

way.

As the meeting came to an end, we stood, united in our determination. “Let’s go interrogate those rogues,” Sawyer announces, his voice firm and of a mocking nature.

“We need to get to the bottom of this and gather as much information as we can. Ezra adds, before agreeing to contact our neighbouring packs to send out their men…

“Have the East and South pack houses prepare our visiting warriors… I expect there to be many! We will need the rooms to house them all!” I instruct a couple of the other men, who nod and head for the door to get the plans set in motion.

With a shared agreement, we all depart from the meeting room, each of us prepared to face the challenges ahead. Our pack’s safety was paramount, and we would do whatever it took to protect what was ours. Derrick Colt might think he can toy with us, but he was about to leam that challenging our pack was a grave mistake–one that he would regret for the rest of his life – however short that may bet Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

As we left the meeting room, a sense of purpose filled the air. Each of us had a role to play in this battle against Derrick Colt and his illegal schemes. Our steps were determined as we made our way towards the cells where the rogues were being held captive…

It’s time to torture them!

As we arrive, entering inside, the dimly lit comidor was lined with thick, reinforced doors. The cells were designed to be impenetrable, ensuring that even the most determined prisoners wouldn’t find an easy escape.

We reached the end of the corridor, and I paused in front of the first locked door, my temper already boiling from the scent of them alone.

Inside, the rogues were likely stewing in a m

a mixture of fear and anticipation. They had no idea what they were up against–who their real f*cking Alpha King was!

“Ready to greet our guests?” Hunt asks loudly, laughing purposefully to send a wave of nerves through to the men.

I smirked in response. “Let’s pay them a visit shall we boys? 1 ponder, enjoying the mockery.

Sawyer pulls out a set of keys, selecting the one that matched the cell we were standing in front of. The door clicked open, and we immediately step inside. The air was thick with tension, as the first two rogues turned to face us, their expressions ranging from defiance to outright terror.

The both of them were huddled together in the small cell, their eyes wide as they took in the sight of us. Hunt, Sawyer, and I stood before them, a trio of unwavering determination and chaos.

Welcome to our humble abode,” Hunt greeted them sarcastically, his tone dripping with venom.

I stepped forward, my gaze locked onto the rogue who had been the most defiant during our first encounter. “Well, well, if it isn’t the brave messengers from the Eclipse Park. I’m sure you have a lot to tell us.” I lean down to be rye level with the dog, as he eyes me back hatefully

The rogues then exchanged uncertain glances, realizing that their bravado wouldn’t hold up in the face of our united front for long. The other one of thrin, a younger–looking wolf, finally spoke up. “You can torture us all you want, but we won’t betray our pack!” He states, causing Hunt and Sawyer to

I raise an eyebrow, unimpressed by his stubbornness. Torture is such a crude method, don’t you think? We have more refined ways of gathering Information you know… it’s a shame you won’t just play nice.” I tut out, before standing to move back – gesturing for Hunt to get to work first.

Sawyer cracks his knuckles, a sinister smile playing on his lips. “But if you’re into pain boys, we’re more than happy to oblige.” He shrugs, before punching the younger of the two hard on the jaw – sending his head lolling into the cell wall with a thud.

You can cooperate willingly and provide us with the information we seek, or we can make your lives a living hell until you’re begging for us to end your pathetic lives. The choice is yours.” 1 state, more so to the older one which I had already decided would die either way… but he doesn’t have to know that just yet.

“F*ck you!” He retorts, as I roll my eyes and allow Hunt to approach him.

He thrashes against the shackles, before Hunt retrieves a freshly sharpened butcher knife… one perfect for severing fingers at that.

Hunt grabs his hand, forcing him to hold it still, before he wastes no time on slamming the blade down on the rogues fingers – successfully cutting the pointer finger and thumb clean off.

The man’s screams are otherworldly, as his eyes leak with sudden tears and his face pales from the pain of the incident.

What a shame… if only he would have been smart and talked… maybe we would’ve let him keep a finger!

Their defiant façade finally begins to crack, and I could see the desperate fear in their eyes. The reality of their situation was sinking in- the realization that they were no match for us.

Over the next few hours, we killed three of the six, and finally managed to extract information from the other three finding that the last ones squealed like pigs when knowing what lay ahead for them…

They revealed details about the alliance between Derrick Colt and the Eclipse Pack, confirming our suspicions. They spoke of Derrick’s promises of power and resources, in his attempt to rally support against us. We learned more about their plans to disrupt our pack and create as much chaos here as possible… and it seemed that he had a few packs on ‘standby for his next “war.

As the interrogation continued, we pieced together a clearer picture of the threat we were facing. It was evident that Derrick’s thirst for power had escalated to dangerous levels. He was willing to put our pack at risk and harm innocent lives to achieve his goals

o, what’s the plan now?” Hunt asked, his arms crossed over his chest, as we exit the cells and wipe our blood stained hands on a cloth.

“We reach out to our supporting packs and gather our warriors. It’s time to show Derrick Colt and anyone who dares to challenge us that they’ve picked the wrong f*cking pack. We won’t let them bring war to our territory, they won’t even make it that far!” I grit out, as my two friends nod.

As I walked back to my private quarters, thoughts of Rose filled my mind. She was the driving force behind my Bourishing hatred for Derrick. I wanted him gone!

The coming days would be intense, the battle ahead unpredictable. But one thing was certain- our pack would thrive and come out on top–like we always do!
