Chapter 13: Her First Boyfriend
Chapter 13: Her First Boyfriend
Maxwell, who was vigilant at all times, did not expect Greta to suddenly attack him ruthlessly and
mercilessly.
If those international warlords and heads of states saw this, they would definitely be shocked that the
notorious Dragon Lord was in such a sorry state because of a woman!
Was he Maxwell? He looked extremely pitiful.
Maxwell was lying on the floor, while Greta stared at him with furious look, different from the calm one
when dealing with business.
"Maxwell, how can you be so shameless? You are coward, but you have the face to promise my dad
sternly." Greta glared at Maxwell. Obviously, she was a little disappointed. She was satisfied with
Maxwell's performance at the party just now. However, at the thought of Maxwell left her when she was
in danger, she was furious.
"President Greta, my leg is about to be broken. You are too ruthless ..." Maxwell howled miserably, and
Greta's beautiful eyes shone with a cold light. "Get out."
Maxwell didn't dare to hesitate. He quickly got up and limped out of the bedroom.
After he returned to the living room, Derrick saw him limping with a lot of dust on his body. Derrick
asked curiously, "Maxwell, you have just gone upstairs. What happened to your leg?"
"I was bitten by a dog," Maxwell answered gloomily.
"Dog? We don't keep dogs." Danika did not understand. Maxwell had to explain that he accidentally
slipped because of the water on the floor....
As Maxwell explained, he thought of Greta's merciless behavior just now. He couldn't help but sign that
he had married her for several months, but her behavior towards him was ruthless....
After a long time, Greta came downstairs elegantly. On seeing Maxwell, she gave a cold stare at him.
"Dad, I'm going to hire some bodyguards," Greta said.
Derrick returned teasingly, "Bodyguards? I think Maxwell is very suitable to be your bodyguard."
"He is just an amateur. Is he able to protect me? I guess he won't even be able to defeat me." Greta
glanced at Maxwell and said coldly.
As Greta spoke, a figure flashed in her mind. He was that mysterious person standing at the entrance
of the Sandoval Tower this morning. Greta could not even see his back clearly, thinking he was a
superman!
If he could protect her, she would never encounter such a dangerous situation in the future. This
superman was unlike her coward husband, who would just run as far as he could in the face of danger!
Maxwell smiled without saying anything. He was an amateur? If he was, no one in this world deserved Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
to be a professional.... Overseas, no one dared to call him an amateur if they knew his identity.
The Seal Troop of China even quoted his mission as a good example. The bodyguards of the head of
Japan had watched videos of him performing protection missions for countless times.
Half a year ago, Maxwell condescended to protect the royal family of Saudi Arabian, who offered
several oilfields to him. For the sake of one of his old friends, he finally agreed to protect the prince of
the Saudi Arabian for two weeks.
"I want to hire the most famous bodyguard in our county. He is much more powerful than this useless
guy," Greta returned as she flickered a cold glanced at Maxwell.
"Alright, It's up to you." Derrick smiled indulgently.
At midnight, Greta asked Maxwell to go to the garage to get her car started.
After Maxwell left, Greta complained to Derrick. "Dad, can you tell him not to stay at my house? I really
can't stand it anymore."
"No, this was settled by your grandfather, and I have no right to change it." Derrick had a firm stand on
this issue.
"Dad, is he worthy of me?" Greta snorted coldly. Standing beside the bed with a deep look, Derrick
slowly said, "Greta, you know your grandfather well. He must have his reason to do it. This is your
marriage. He will definitely take it seriously."
"But...."
"Well, it's getting late. It's time to go back."
Derrick looked at Greta calmly. Realizing that she could not persuade Derrick, Greta pouted angrily and
walked out of the mansion in high heels.
A Maybach was pulled over. Greta opened the car door and got in.
Sitting in the back row, with her beautiful long legs crossed together, Greta looked at Maxwell and
instructed coldly as if Maxwell was her full-time driver, "Go home."
Having been quietly activated, the pitch-black Maybach advanced towards the distance in the deep
darkness, like a phantom.
The next morning, after making breakfast, Maxwell woke Greta up on time.
Greta rubbed her eyes. After dressing up, she went downstairs elegantly.
After breakfast, Greta drove Maybach to the company as usual. Today, the Sandoval Group would
receive a big customer from overseas. If the company could cooperate with this customer, they would
make a healthy profit from the overseas market!
As the Maybach disappeared from his sight, Maxwell made a call and asked in a low voice, "How is
it??"
"Boss, Blood Blade has been a bit arrogant lately. I warned them. But they didn't listen, claiming that
the Dragon Lord had retired, and the era of the Dragon Lord was over." The youth on the other end of
the phone spoke in a cold and deep tone. Obviously, he was enraged by Blood Blade.
"Destroy them." Maxwell said indifferently, a cold light flashing in his calm eyes!
"Yes, boss, I'll notify the fellows at the base right now and let them take actions."
"This is a warning. Anyone who doesn't want to live can take a try." Maxwell's tone was cold, carrying a
bloodlust.
"Find a clean bodyguard for my wife. Don't mention my identity," Maxwell said.
"Boss, Mrs. Greta doesn't need a bodyguard since you are with her. You blow all bodyguards out of
water. There's no scope for the bodyguard's abilities, right?" The young man was shocked for a
moment, and then he laughed loudly.
"How dare you disobey me now? You deserve a spanking. Why don't you come to my house? Let's
have a competition," Maxwell said provocatively.
"Boss, I'll go find the bodyguard for you at once. I can guarantee that Mrs. Greta will receive the
resume of the bodyguard within today." The young man, who was on the other end of the phone, was
sitting in an office. On hearing Maxwell's aggressive words, he trembled. He still remembered vividly
that he had once been tortured by Maxwell to such an extent that he was powerless to fight back.
Not long after Maxwell hung up, his phone rang again. Maxwell looked down, finding it was Greta's call
this time.
Maxwell answered the phone, and Greta's charming and cold voice sounded. "Go buy some good
dishes. I'm going to host a banquet at noon."
"Whom are you going to host a banquet for?" Maxwell didn't understand. Greta never entertained
anyone at home. What was going on today?
"I'll receive an old friend who has returned from overseas. He is now a distinguished guest of the
Sandoval Group." Greta explained in a charming voice. She had just learned on the way that this
distinguished guest was her former high school classmate.
"Why don't you just go to the hotel? There's no need to host a banquet at home." Maxwell continued to
ask shamelessly.
"He was my first boyfriend. Are you satisfied?" Greta sneered.
