The Wolf Who hated alphas

Chapter 19: Control

Sera woke up apprehensive, as if something bad was going to happen today. She didn’t write anything while changing or when Kyria said good morning. But the feeling remained there.

Andromeda was already waiting for them in the clearing, with the gates open to the forest.

“Today I intend to bring a different exercise. We have incredible historical knowledge around Wolf Paws. Let’s explore the ancient ruins of the site. Take your rune books and ancient language and let’s go.”

She walked between them and separated the doubles.

For some reason, Kyria had escaped from class today and Sera was curious as to why.

Even so, the concern for her partner was greater. And she ended up being right.

“Abrams and Ramesses. No exchanges.” – She was clear.

And there they were again, united even though they wanted to get away.

Each pair went one way. Sera and Karim did not exchange any interaction with each other for some time. Both trying to forget the kiss and avoid each other.

They went through the forest towards one of the ruins. The day was sunny and a cool breeze moved Sera’s hair.

Karim watched her, secretly and even knowing the reason, wondered how she could stand to wear that scarf with a sun like that.

The couple watched the ruins, taking care not to fall among the boulders.

On the walls were two wolves, one black and one white. Above the head of the first was a new moon and above the second, a full moon.

“Opposites.” – Sera wrote. ” Can they be the primordial alpha and omega?”

Karim noted well and noted that there was something written on the side. He tried to translate, but the books were not being useful.

Suddenly, Sera touched his arm. Her fingers were warm and thin and he tried not to be distracted by it.

She pointed to a cave just ahead, full of runes and a little finished. Both looked at each other and entered.

It wasn’t the smartest decision. However, current events called for extreme action.

Andromeda guided each student to her place and counted the time when they were already out of sight.

Until someone screaming caught her eye:

“Teacher, Professor Andersen.” – A blonde girl came to meet you. ” A student, Eddy does not look well, teacher.”

“Show me where he is.” she said, worried, and followed the student.

The student was sweating cold, others had given him a bottle of water. But there was something wrong.

As Andromeda approached, the black boy stood up and looked into her eyes with a lifeless look.

“Look who has appeared, the one who is interfering in my domain. What do you want here, girl? It won’t be so easy to find out something about me.” – He laughed.

“Who are you? You can’t… Kallias?”

The boy smiled sarcastically.

“Look, she got it right.”

Andromeda stepped back, watching the young people around, frightened.

“What do you want?” – She asked, apprehensive.

“Simple, let you get out of my way.” – Several voices said at once.

Andromeda remained strong, even with the will to hide. All the young people looked at her with lupine shadows behind them and with lifeless looks.

Until something inexplicable happened and all the students fell to the ground, unconscious.

—–

The cave was deep and wet, Sera could hear the drops falling from the ceiling to the floor.

She followed after Karim, lighting the place with the flashlight. Until something caught her eye.

Pointing to the wall, Sera called him and wrote:

“What are those symbols?”

It was painted 4 symbols, a black wolf with eyes of fire, another grayish with the red background, plus a white of gray eyes and finally a dark brown of yellow eyes.

“I know the second.” – Sera wrote “It’s the symbol of your family.”

“And I know the latter.” – Karim whispered. ” It’s one I was forced to memorize. Yours.” – He said, looking away.

“Do you really want to kill me?” – Sera had the courage to ask.

Karim sighed.

“I should…” – He said.

“But I can’t…” – he thought.

Sera looked away from the walls again. She should be afraid of him. Especially, being alone. But something inside her said that she could trust Karim and that they should be close.

The young woman again observed the painting and noticed 4 people below each clan symbol. The Abiyoe was a short-haired, afro-haired young man in a yellow tunic. The Ramesses, a woman with curly hair and gray tunic. Already, of the Aurelius, a man with short straight hair and white tunic. And finally, the family of Sera, a woman with long and smooth hair and red tunic.

Sera felt a pressure on her chest. That was her mother. She wasn’t Cohin at birth, but it was in the name. Why was she there? She had been one of the chosen ones. However, why wasn’t someone from her father’s family in her place?

Sera snorted. He thought he would find answers and there were more and more questions.

“Let’s continue. There are inscriptions further on.” – She heard Karim’s voice beside her.

They kept walking. Now there was a slight steep climb inside that place and the couple ended up in the inscriptions.

Once again, it wasn’t helpful. Karim took her phone and took a picture, muttering right away, pointing to her book.

“What’s that for anyway?”

The duo focused on trying to translate the old texts. However, something unusual happened.

The ground began to shake. Karim instinctively approached Sera.

A crater formed and she fell, moaning in fear.

Scared, Karim held his hand.

“Lean in. I’ll pull you in.”

He was able to pull it up. That was an opportunity to drop it. An accident, no one would blame him. But something inside of him. From your wolf, I wouldn’t let you do that.

No matter if he caught it later, Karim pulled it up. Looking down, there were several puddles and a vast environment. How could you not have noticed such a big place?

Sera was panting. He touched her arm as if to say:

“I am right here.”

On the understanding, it seems that it did not help – there. The ground shook again and both fell to the wettest place.

“Well, what we have here.” – They heard a sarcastic voice.

Sera trembled, it was not possible. He was there. In the flesh.

She looked up and came across heterochromatic eyes, a gray and a blue. Kallias was there, right in front of him and Sera couldn’t help but tremble.

The man approached and she could not move. Karim, tried, but was stopped with a kick and with Kallias stepping on his ribs.

“I’m so glad you’re here. Why have fun with puppies if I can play with two big wolves?”
