The Girl With Lycan Blood

Chapter 8 Chapter 9

Chapter 9

I finished off breakfast with Katy as we talked about going to the mall, she wanted to go get new shoes

or something. She's been explaining to me why she needs a whole new shoe collection. Either they

didn't fit or they're unexceptional, whatever that means.

"Anna all you have to do is ask Tyler." Katy finishes.

"Ugh, what if he's busy?" I protest.

"He's not, its just paperwork."

"That's something." I put my hands on my hips.

"Ya but he does that every day." She wines.

"Fine," I complain. I have a feeling Katy's been using the fact that Tyler and I are mates to get what she

wants.

I walk down the long hallway that leads to his office; I reach for the door handle-

"Oh, Tyler I know you want to." I hear through the door.

What the hell! I place my ear on the door and listen.

"Tyler, what's wrong, do you need me to cheer you up?" The flirty, girly voice rings in my ears.

I can't even breath. My heart starts to race, and my eyes grow watery. Should I go in? I feel like I'm

going to puke. "Emily please," Tyler says.

Oh god, I let out a small whimper, I can feel my wolf hurting. I thought things were getting better, I

thought that I finally got what I've been waiting for, happiness. I gently move my ear from the door, I

don't want to hear any more. I can't even comprehend what I just heard.

"Anna?" Katy calls as she peeks down the hall.

I look up at her as a tear falls down my cheek. All I've been doing is crying! I'm such a baby, I'm weak.

I walk past her and to the front room.

"Anna, what happened?" Katy asks.

I turn around and face her. "Tell Tyler I hope he's happy with Emily." I chuckle.

Her face goes blank and her eyes grow wide.

"I'll get my stuff later," I say before going out the front door. I slam it behind me and start walking down

the dirt road that leads who knows where. I walk until I reach the main road, it leads into town. I walk

along the road until I get into town. I check my phone that luckily was in my pocket, I've been walking

for about an hour. As the sun starts to set I walk up to Route 33, I might as well get everything off my

mind. I get in line and wait until I reach the bouncer.

"Let me in," I ask a bit annoyed.

"Woah, I need to see some id." The bouncer chuckles.

I glare at him. He's a wolf from Tyler's pack, I've seen him around.

"Look buddy let me in, or I'll get Alpha Tyler."

"Oh yeah, you're going to get the Alpha." He laughs.

"I'm Annalee Evens, Tyler Parker's mate. Call him if you have to."

He raises an eyebrow and lets me in. I give him a smile and pat his chest. "Good choice." I enter the

club and head to the bathroom. I look in the mirror and fix my hair.

"I guess I'm not dressed for clubbing," I mutter to myself.

"You need a dress?" A girl asks as she comes out of one of the stalls.

"Um, yeah?" I have to admit that this is a little weird.

"I got one for ya." She slurs. Obviously, she's been drinking. "Come on I'll switch clothes with you."

"Switch clothes?" I question. I like my outfit.

"Give me your number and we can get each other's clothes back." She suggests as she stumbles to

the sinks.

"Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yah, I'm going anyways."

"Then sure, I guess." This is probably the weirdest thing I've done.

I go into one of the stalls and strip off my shorts and blouse, and throw them over the stall wall. After I

throw mine she throws her dress over and it lands on my head. I put on the dress, it's nude and black.

It really hugs my body and reaches mid thigh. It's a little more revealing than what I usually wear but it

will have to do. I exit the stall and so does the girl.

"Here give me your number and I'll call you tomorrow." She pulls out her phone.

I give her my phone number and look in the mirror. I look good.

"Oh, I'm Chelsea by the way." She holds out her hand.

"I'm Anna, thanks for letting me borrow your dress." I shake her hand.

"No problem, here have my shoes!"

She takes off her black pumps and gives them to me, I take off my flats and hand them to her.

"Wow, they fit," I say not believing that we are the exact same size.

"Yeah, it's a little weird." She laughs. "Well, see ya tomorrow." She waves as she stumbles out the

bathroom door.

Did that just happen?

I walk out of the restroom and push through the small crowd by the bathroom doors. I make my way up

to the bar and sit on one of the stools.

"Can I buy you a drink?" A wasted guy asks me as he attempts to act smooth.

"Yeah, you can," I answer in a sweet, flirty voice, but I immediately cringe at myself.

He smiles and orders me some drink I've never heard of. I could use a drink. I can feel my wolf getting

angry at me for flirting with someone other than our mate. "Here." He hands me the concoction and I

don't think twice before taking a sip. It burns my throat and has quite an after taste but overall it wasn't

that bad.

An upbeat song plays throughout the club, and I gulp down the rest of my drink and make my way to

the dance floor. I join in the crowd and just let go.

I move my body along with everyone else, I feel hands on my waist. I let it go and just dance along.

"Come on." The person whispers in my ear.

I follow the guy through the crowd to a table full of other werewolves.

"Sit down and join us!" A girl yells over the music.

I smile and join them at the table. The table is covered with shots and other drinks. The guy that

danced with me hands me a shot and I swallow the cool, burning liquor. Before I know it I've taken a

ton of shots and other drinks that will surely give me one hell of a headache in the morning. At this

point, I know I'm drunk.

"Let's dance!" The group cheers and I join them.

We all stumble to the dance floor and start to dance with random people. I've totally lost my mind. As

I'm dancing with my new friends I feel someone grab my wrist and pull me out of the crowd. I knew the

second that he touched me that it was Tyler. Stupid mate bond.

He drags me towards the back door.

"No, I don't want to leave!" I pout.

"Anna come on your drunk." He drags me out the door. The cool breeze outside hit me and I shiver.

"Get in the car." He orders, pointing to a very expensive looking car.

"No, I'm going back to my friends!" I yell as I stumble back towards the back door of the club. Tyler

sighs and grabs my arm, he opens the car door and forces me in. He shuts the car door and gets in on

the driver side.

"What the hell were you doing at a club?!" He scolds.

I ignore him and look out the car window.

"Damn it, Anna!" He yells and starts the car; he starts speeding down the main road.

I start to freak out, he's going over 100 miles per hour, and he's only getting faster.

"Tyler slow down!" I yell at him.

"Why the hell were you at a club?" He shouts at me not slowing down.

"Tyler slow down!"

"Anna why were you at a club at two in the morning!" He speeds up.

"Tyler!" I scream.

"Why did you leave and go to a god damn club? I'm not asking again!"

"Why don't you ask Emily!" Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

He abruptly stops the car and my body flies forward but the seat belt holds me back. You could hear

the tires screech. He sighs and let's go of the steering wheel.

"She's no one." He barely explains.

"Do you think I'm stupid!" I cry as I unbuckle

my seat belt.

"Look before you came she had a thing for me and she wanted to be Luna, Emily would come bother

me and try to seduce me." He mutters.

I don't want to carry on this conversation about girls that wanted him.

"Let's just get back to the pack house," I mumble.

Tyler doesn't say anything as he drives us back to the house. All my wolf wanted to do is attack him

with kisses, while I on the other side am hurting. When we arrive at our destination I unbuckle my seat

belt and get out of his car. I thought about slamming the car door but I don't want to seem crazy. I

marched up the porch steps and opened the front door, oh god. Destruction.

That's the only way to describe it.

The TV had a giant crack in the screen like someone pushed it. The couches were thrown around, and

the cushions covered the floor. The coffee table was completely broken and thrown across the living

room, there's a giant dent in the wall where I'm guessing the coffee table hit. Lamps and vases were

shattered.

I stood in the doorway completely shocked at my surroundings. What the hell happened!

Katy appears with a trash bag and looks me in the eyes. "You broke him, I've never seen him this

angry, this upset." She shuttered. "Where is he?"

"Still outside, I rushed out of the car."

Suddenly Tyler walks through the doorway and goes straight upstairs, not saying a word.

"Go talk to him." Katy pushes me.

It's probably the right thing to do, I want us to be okay. I slowly climb the stairs and walk up to the

double doors, the doors to his bedroom.

Okay, Anna, you can do this, he's your mate.

I reach and grab the handle twisting it, the door opens and Tyler is sitting on the edge of his bed with

his head resting in his hands. When he notices me he looks up, his face showing little emotion.

"Tyler... I'm sorry I left, it just hurt to picture you with someone else." I confess honestly, I don't care

anymore I want to be with him.

He stands up and walks towards me. "I've been waiting to find my mate for a while, no other woman

will ever compare to you, now that I've found you I'm never letting you go." He presses his lips against

mine and I'm in heaven.

Is this what I've been waiting for? Him to want me?
