Steven squinted. "Anything else?"

"Mr. Lennon said I should stick with you for now. He mentioned you'll be handling my work arrangements moving forward, Mr. Fischer."

Steven nodded, "Alright. For now, stay here in Cascade City. With you here, I feel confident things are covered."

"What?" Lareal shot up, startled. "Mr. Fischer, you..."

"I have business in Brookville. For anything here in Cascade City, work directly with Eloise. Only when both of you can't solve it should you reach out to me."

Steven grabbed his coat, made a quick call to Eloise, and instructed, "Stay in Cascade City to support Lareal. And without my permission, don't go looking for the Naylors."

"I understand."

Lareal gaped as he watched Steven leave. He wore a defeated expression as Steven disappeared from view.

Steven arrived in Brookville at 3:00 pm along with Marvin Powell. They headed directly to Sean's private hospital.

Peter, Charles, and Sean rarely gathered like this, but today, they had to discuss the urgent medical conditions of Nancy and Tania. With Marvin's esteemed reputation in the medical field, Peter saw no choice but to call in Steven's help.

Marvin reviewed Sean's report and frowned deeply. "Peter, this is a newly developed virus. It's associated with an organization based in Kerlsberg. I had only heard rumors of it until now."

After a long silence, Charles placed a hand on Peter's shoulder. "Go see Tania. I'll start an investigation in Kerlsberg. But remember, there aren't many people out there who would target you like this."
