THIRTY ONE
Cayne rushed inside, mewed dammed on breaking the door. As soon as he went inside, his eyes search everywhere.
He walked briskly. He found no Raszhiel. But what he found are two people trying to kick each other’s asses, martial arts styles on the television.
He frowned. His mind went blank all of the sudden. He tried to focus and highten his instincts. And he knew that something isn’t right.
Raszhiel had to be safe. She has to be. Or else.
He couldn’t imagine his life without her. She can’t be gone. Not now that he finally confess his feelings to her.
He walked slowly to the kitchen area, he saw the housekeeper, lying face down the floor.
And he saw the hair bow Raszhiel had worn in her hair that morning, lying simply on the ground, with blood.
His heart turned to ice as furry so deep, it was lethal that it took his whole body.
Oh god please no.

Raszhiel’s POV
When I opened my eyes, I met a complete darkness. My had was spinning, probably from the toxic fumes I had taken when a strong arms had restrained me.
I bolted up as memories hits me, I immediately felt so dizzy. But I tries to fought it, trying to see something in the pitch black darkness that sorrounded me.
When my eyes finally adjusted to the darkness, I tired to walked towards the door. I stood steadily and tried to get my bearings.
But the door swung opened and I blinked as the sudden darkness suddenly turned into lights. It struck my eyes.
“I see that you’re finally awake now,” said by the voice that I recognize so well.
“Anica,” My voice was hoarse.
She reached over the corner and a light flickered on. She was dress in a long, stylish beige trench coat and Louboutins that were the same color as her coat. She had a shiny silver pistol on her hand and a wicked smile in her face.
“I hope my arrival wasn’t too appealing,” she said. “Things between you and Cayne were getting too lovey-dovey, so I had to intervene.”
“Where are we?” I hissed, venom in my voice.
“Well? Guess where?” She laughed evily. “This is the warehouse that my father owns. And this is the place that you’ll gonna die with my own hands.” She paused, looking throughtfull. “I know that it’ll be a matter of time before Cayne gets here, but who cares. You’ll be dead by the time he gets here, so what the hell.” She pointed the gun at me.
Icy fear settled over my body. Her eyes were cold, unfocused. No doubt she was painting a pretty picture where she would be Cayne’s trophy wife.
“Why?”
She looked at me, confused but then fade away. b
“You know why,” she said. “Before you came along I had a real shot. But when when you came along, it’s like I don’t exist anymore.” She looked at me with so much disgrace and then scoffed. “I don’t know what’s so special in you. I don’t understand why can’t he looked at me they way he looked at you. I did everything for him. I also gave myself just to make him happy and satisfies him.”
“So you think killing me gonna solve everything?” I asked her, looking at her seriously. “You think Cayne’s gonna love you after this? He’ll gonna know this for sure.”
“He won’t have a choice,” she hissed venomously. “I’ll make him love me–” she suddenly stopped talking, looking at something. She nodded, lowering her arm that held the gun.
“I’ll come back for you later,” she said, turning out the lights and then shut the door locked.
I knew I don’t have a long time, but I had to get a way out of here before she comes back.
I hurriedly walked towards the door and tried to open it, but it was locked on the outside.
I turned my gaze all over the place and lucky for me, I found a window that had been covered with old boxes. The sun shines through brightly as I struggled to pry it open.
I had to hurry and escape before Anica could came back. I don’t want to die like this. This is not the kind of death that I wanted.
Then finally, it popped opened. My heart reached in happiness and excitement. I lifted myself up on one of the boxes and climb through the window.
As soon as my feet touches the ground, I run. The warehouse was sorrounded by tall trees. I was glad that the sun was shining brightly and it’s not night time. The woods and the dark were a crazy ass combination.
I had been running my heart out all the time when I finally came to a halt. I saw three big men and Anica standing not too far away from me, talking.
I quickly hid behind a big and tall tree. Thank goodness I was wearing a dark color shirt so that they couldn’t easily see me. I tired to control my erratic breathing.
“If they’re on there way here, then we should move her,” she said.
“Why are you still toying her? We could just kill her right at this moment, and it would solve your problem.” One of the men said.
“Yeah, I agree with him, but before that, let us taste her first. She looks yummy, you know.” Said by another guy, while licking his lip like a maniac. “She might escape if we wait here any longer.”
“Oh I plan for her to,” she said chillingly, causing me to freeze. “And if she does, she’ll end up here.”
And then she fired a shot that hit the tree right behind me. I knew that my cover was blown and I bolted.
I could hear the footsteps behind me, pursuing me as I run through the forest as fast as my legs would allow me.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Another shot rocketed in the forest, but this time it hit me in the shoulder. I cried out in pain but I kept on running. I shouldn’t stop now, I shouldn’t—+
My body suddenly sank forward, collapsing on the cool, hard earth. Anica came into view, kneeled over me, smiling angelically before she hit me on the head with the butt of her gun that drove me into the darkness.

Cayne’s POV
“FUCK!” I shouted in complete madness. It’s already an hour since Raszhiel was kidnapped and we still don’t know where to find her.
“Calm down, dude.” Nicholas said trying to focus on what he did doing.
“How could I?” What if something bad happened to her.” I said as I walked back and forth.
“Nothing bad gonna happened to her, Shelton.” Lincoln said then stand up to grab sa cigarette.
I was still walking back and forth and Nicholas is checking all possible leads that could lead us to Raszhiel when my phone suddenly rings.
I hurriedly took it from my panty and again, an unregistered number had appeared.
“Hello?”
“I think I know where my daughter took the girl.” Said from the other line. It was Joaquin, Anica’s father.
“Where?”
“My warehouse, not far away from the city. I’ll send you the address.” He said then the call ended.
Seconds later, my phone beeped and I read the message.
“I’m gonna kill that bitch when I catch her.” Lincoln said as he took the gun from the table.
“Let’s go.”
Just wait, Love. I’m coming. I’ll come save you.
