The Alpha’s Dynasty

The dynasty

After all the drama, Zane wanted to fire Harlow. But after some serious thinking between the two of us, Zane decided to sell back the company to the previous owners. Mr. Milner had realised it had been a bad decision to sell of his family legacy. Thankfully, Zane didn’t want it anymore.

“I bought it because I wanted to be close to you,” he said. “I got what I wanted. I don’t need the company anymore. I will continue to expand the dynasty I have already built. I’ll probably have branches of my companies here in future. For now, I’m quite contented with all the companies I own. Besides, more companies means more work and I just want to enjoy my life with you now.”NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

“Are you bragging, Mr. Carrington?” I asked, smiling.

“Maybe,” he said, leaning closer to me. “Do you like that?”

I shook my head, trying not to smile. “I hate arrogant men.”

“And yet here you are with me. I guess you, miss Bennett, don’t know what you want.”

“Shut up,” I said, kissing him. Even though we had kissed over a million times since we started staying together, it still felt like the first time, even better. It was like the passion between us kept growing after each time.

“Can we take this to the bedroom?” he asked.

I pushed my plate away. “Yes.”

We stood up and pushed away chairs back. He scooped me up and carried me up the stairs of his house. We were back in Misenium city but we decided to stay in his house for a while before going to the pack house.

Having a werewolf as a partner was the most special thing that ever happened to me. The mate bond was something that words couldn’t do justice to. The ability for us to feel each other’s happiness, pain and other emotions was amazing. I had never felt that close to anyone in my whole life. It was like when we were one. After marking and mating, Zane was able to read my thoughts. Had I been a werewolf, I would have been able to read his thoughts as well.

Werewolf mates could build a wall in their minds to prevent their mates from reading their thoughts. Since I was not a werewolf, I couldn’t do it. Because Zane wanted me to have my privacy, he took me to a witch who was able to block Zane from reading my thoughts. I was glad he was very understanding and knew that it was important for me to have my privacy.

I was still not sure what to think about the moon goddess. At first, I was tempted to believe she didn’t exist. But the existence of vampires and werewolves, creatures I had always thought were fictional, made me think twice. I knew it was going to take a while for me to come to terms with everything but I was ready to face it all. Whether I was ready to become the Luna of Bloodmoon pack was a story for another day.

Sitting on the balcony of our beautiful home, I thought about the year and how it had been. I had been living in Misenium for four months. I had been given a job at one of the pack’s companies as an administrator. My family had gone crazy when I told them I was moving to Misenium because of its reputation. Fortunately, I was an adult and they had to understand that I had made my choice for reasons best known for me. They insisted on meeting Zane and it happened. They actually liked him and didn’t notice that he was a werewolf.

Suddenly, Zane called me from the lawn. I looked down below and saw him holding a soft ball and smiled. I still couldn’t believe the most perfect man I had ever met was mine. Sighing, I rose and descended the stairs.

“Would you like to play with this ball?” He asked.

“Yes,” I stood a few meters away from him and raised my hands, ready to catch the ball. “Give it to me.”

“Okay,” he said and threw it into my hands. Something rolled from inside.

“What’s in this ball and how did it get in there?” A part on the ball looked like it had been punctured and then fixed. “What did you put in there?”

He handed me a scissor which I used to puncture the ball. I created a little hole and peered in. Glancing at Zane and back to the ball, I held it facing downwards and shook until something fell out of it.

It was the most beautiful ring I had ever laid my eyes on. I dropped the ball and stared at the ring, open mouthed. “Zane?”

“I know you love soccer so much. Will you let me be your second love forever?”

“Of course!” I shrieked, running into his arms. “I love you, Zane.”

“I love you, too.” He pulled away slightly and kissed me. “Thank you for coming into my life and making it better. You’ve given me so much happiness, Maya.”

“I’m so lucky to have you in my life.”

“I’m the lucky one.”

What did I do to deserve such a man in my life? He had proposed to me in the best way ever, acknowledging the love I had for soccer. Having my two loves with me filled my heart with a lot of joy.

“We’ll start the new year as an engaged couple,” he told me, reaching out for my hand. “Where’s the ring?”

“Uhmm,” I figured it fell when I hugged him. I spotted it on the grass. “It’s over there.”

He picked it up. “I hope you won’t throw the ring again.”

“I didn’t throw it,” I defended myself.

I didn’t think I’d ever have a reason to remove it. Why would I, after all he was the only man I wanted. He was the one I’d been searching for, all those years. Now, that I had him, I didn’t plan on letting him go.

He was the love of my life and my alpha. And I was going to be his luna. Together, we would take Bloodmoon pack, and his dynasty to greater heights.
