As they queued up, Nathan and the others found themselves behind a well-equipped bounty hunter team. The leader of the team had blond hair and was dressed in a luxurious vest. His helmet and weapon were both adorned with redbuds. This bounty hunter team was Team Redbud, one of the most capable teams in Nightfire Underground City.

This blond man was their leader, Massimo Macario.

Nathan suddenly noticed Massimo was regarding him with an amused smile.

He froze and shot Massimo a confused look.

Massimo noticed Nathan was giving him a confused glance.

He chuckled softly and stated, "If I'm not mistaken, you should be a nobleman hailing from Eurasia. This place is dangerous, and Darko isn't someone to be taken lightly. Even if you have some skilled bodyguards, it doesn't give you the right to act as you please. Nathan burst out laughing. "Should I thank you for your advice?"

Massimo responded with composure, "I understand that young men like yourself tend to be overconfident and may not heed my advice. Nonetheless, when you run into trouble, you will realize the value of my suggestion. It is wise to maintain a low profile." Nathan took a quick glance at Massimo's lavish vest and his sparkling jeweled rapier, as well as his subordinates' flashy attire.

He chuckled and said, "I don't think you're keeping a low profile. Your flashy vest and equipment are quite eye-catching."

Massimo grinned confidently. "I'm an exception. My strength is unparalleled, giving me the freedom to do as I please."

Even Colin and Sevan bore amused smiles.

They didn't say a word, but their reactions were enough to prove their thoughts.

Seeing their reactions, Massimo thought they were doubting his ability.

Furious, he demanded coldly, "How is that funny? The ignorant are indeed fearless. Well, I'll have to show you my abilities, then."

Massimo wore a smug expression on his face, but he deliberately spoke in a calm tone. "You may exchange these for the reward money."

The woman promptly responded, "Sure. Let me just calculate the amount you're owed. Please give me a moment."

He then looked over his shoulder and gave Nathan a knowing look "This is why I can afford to keep a high profile. You should take notes, young man," he announced with a hint of pride in his voice.

Nathan's lips curved, but he remained silent.

Colin, Sevan, and Blossom had weird expressions on their faces.

Massimo thought that they were shocked by his loot and suddenly grew interested in Nathan's loot. "By the way how many vampire cores did you acquire? Would you mind showing us?" he inquired deliberately.

"Did you only get transparent vampire cores of the lowest level?"

He and his subordinates burst into raucous laughter.
