Revenge is Best Served… After Reborn

Chapter 1371

Under the cloak of night, with not a soul in sight, Sandy snuck out of the Burke Estate, her suitcase in tow.

When Adler dispatched someone to take Sandy to the airport, they found her room empty and headed to Sophie's room instead.

Sophie frowned when she heard Sandy had vanished and asked, "Have you checked the security cameras?"

Jenna responded, "She took off with her suitcase about an hour ago."

Adler sighed, "Ms. Sandy just can't sit still, can she? Wouldn't it be smarter for her to head back to Devonport right now? She's really giving us a headache!"

Sophie seemed unfazed and said, "Just cancel her flight. Wherever Sandy goes, she's not in any real danger."

Jenna looked puzzled, "Why's that?"

"She's the heiress of the Pollard family; no one's going to mess with her. Plus, she's Kiran's kid sister, and Joseph wouldn't dare lay a finger on Sandy. Just let her roam, but have someone shadow her to make sure she gets back to Kiran safely." Jenna let out a sigh, "So, we're left to clean up her mess again? Sandy really needs to think before she acts! If Kiran were that easy to sway, he wouldn't have shot you back then!"

Adler chimed in, "What can you do? She's a born-and-bred princess, only ever troubled by friendship woes."

With that, Adler turned to Sophie, "I'll get on the phone with my team to make sure they discreetly escort Sandy back to the Burke family."

"Alright."

Sophie leaned back on the sofa. To everyone inside and out, she was as good as gone. And as someone who's 'dead,' staying quiet was the best move for now.

An hour later, at the Burke estate:

"Who's there?" The security guard's voice startled Sandy.

Hands on her hips, Sandy declared, "It's me! I'm here to see my brother!"

Recognizing Sandy, the guard thought of Kiran and hurriedly said, "Ms. Sandy, I'll let them know you're here..."

"No need for that, I'm heading in!"

With that, Sandy marched into the

Burke family estate. The guard hesitated to stop her, knowing full

well who she was.

"Ms. Sandy... maybe I should still go..."

The guard made one last attempt, but Sandy tossed him her suitcase and said, "Take this to my room!"

The guard stared at the suitcase, bewildered. Her room? Where exactly in the Burke estate did Sandy have a room?

"Ms. Sandy! Ms. Sandy!" The guard quickly followed with the suitcase.

Sandy had already reached the main hall when James, descending from the second-floor study, spotted her.

A maid approached Sandy, "Who are you here to see?"

"I'm looking for my brother Kiran. Where is he?"

Sandy's attitude was icy towards the whole Burke household. Hearing she was ter Kiran, the maid hesitated. "Mr. Angelo, he..." Content, belongs

"Kiran's not here." James's voice suddenly cut through from above.

Sandy looked up to see James. She'd never been fond of him, but hearing he had saved Sophie softened her expression a bit. "I need to find my brother. Mr. James, please tell him the Aldridge family kicked me out! I've got nowhere to go and no money for a ticket."
