Chapter 3 Betrayal
Chapter 3 Betrayal
Chapter 3 Betrayal
Linda hid the murderous intent in her eyes, and her eyes were filled with tears as she looked up and spoke in a pitiful tone, "Rosy, if you don't want me to stay in the Smith family, I can leave. I can even publicly announce that I am leaving the Smith family and our parents. Please don't hurt Dad and Mom who love you, okay?"
She pleaded with righteousness.
Roslin looked at Linda who pretended to be sincere and felt sick. For so many days and nights, she wanted to tear off Linda's hypocritical mask.
In the past, she didn't dare to do that because she was afraid that her father and mother would be unhappy, afraid that they would look at her with disappointed eyes, afraid that they would think she had bad manners, and afraid that they would dislike her.
Now she was not afraid anymore.
The next moment, Linda, who looked pitiful, was so scared that her face turned pale because Roslin pinched her neck.
"You know what? I've been wanting to slap your disgusting face for a long time."
"Smack!" Roslin slapped Linda's face fiercely, and there was a loud sound.
Linda's face was slapped to the side.
"Smack..." Several consecutive slaps made Linda's cheeks red and swollen, and her face could no longer show that fake and disgusting expression.
"Woo-woo." Linda cried.
When Lucinda saw Linda's miserable appearance, she shouted at the hotel staff with all her strength, "Why are you just standing there? Go pull that crazy woman down!"
The hotel security guards who came in a hurry heard Lucinda's words and all rushed forward without any hesitation.
Suddenly, a sharp knife was placed on Linda's neck, "Don't move. If anyone takes one step forward, I will kill her with the knife."
The security guards dared not move. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.
The guests looked at Roslin in shock because her actions were too unexpected.
What kind of despair did this young girl in her prime experience so she took such a decisive step?
The cold feeling on her neck made Linda forget to cry, and all her attention was focused on Roslin's hand, afraid that Roslin might accidentally cut her throat.
Linda said nervously and fearfully, "Rosy, what you're doing is illegal, and you'll go to jail. Please let go of me, okay? I promise not to pursue it and promise not to go back to the Smith family, and I will give Dad and Mom back to you."
Roslin sneered. "I don't want them anymore."
She spent eight years thoroughly seeing through her parents.
In their eyes, she was not even their daughter.
She lived worse than a dog. In the Smith family, even the dog had more dignity than her.
She laughed at herself for being stupid, foolish, and naive, thinking that if she worked hard and became more obedient, they would treat her well.
After all, she was their biological daughter, wasn't she?
Unfortunately, she was wrong.
She was ridiculously wrong.
They didn't have her in their hearts at all.
She used to be too silly and hopeless.
Linda wanted to persuade Roslin, but when she heard Roslin's voice again, she felt like she had fallen into an ice cave.
"I know I won't live long. Since you don't want me to live, let's die together. After we die, we can still have each other."
Linda's lips kept trembling. She tried to speak several times but had to bite back her words.
"Linda, you can..."
Before Roslin could finish her words, a bullet whizzed by, and a red dot appeared on her forehead when she heard the gunshot.
Roslin looked at the man in front of her in disbelief. She wanted to ask why but didn't say it in the end.
That man helped her escape from danger.
That man protected her everywhere.
That man was always by her side, bringing her the only warmth.
But now, he had killed her.
The most trusted person had betrayed her.
There was nothing more despairing in the world.
With resentment and hatred, Roslin slowly fell to the ground, and the knife in her hand slipped quietly and fell heavily on the ground, making a clanging sound.
Linda turned around in grief, crawled beside Roslin, and whispered in her ear, "Desperate? I just want you to be desperate. Let me tell you. All of this was my design.
Even your previous men were personally chosen by me. Tut-tut, I never thought that even after being treated like that, you could wake up without shame. Shouldn't you have protected the family's reputation with your life?"
Under the stimulation of Linda's words, Roslin forced herself to open her heavy eyelids and stared at Linda. Linda's tone was gentle, but what she said was extremely vicious.
Linda looked at Roslin's hateful yet indignant eyes and smirked. "Look at those beautiful eyes. I almost can't bear to kill you so soon. After all, I haven't had enough fun. Unfortunately, Xander doesn't want to see you anymore, so I can only send you to hell."
"Don't blame me. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for coming back. Everything in the Smith family belongs to me. You're only fit to be a rat in the sewer."
A mouthful of blood spurted out of Roslin's mouth, splashing on Linda's face.
Linda was stunned, a hint of ferocity flickered in her eyes, but it quickly turned into pain. This was because a group of people led by Lucinda rushed over and surrounded her.
"Linda, are you okay? Let me see if you're injured." Lucinda said very anxiously.
Linda shook her head and said sorrowfully, "Mom, I'm sorry. I'm the one who caused Roslin's death."
Lucinda's face darkened. "Don't mention that jinx. She deserved to die."
"This has nothing to do with you. She brought this upon herself." John comforted Linda.
Lucinda hugged Linda tightly and kept reassuring her. "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have let that jinx in. It almost caused you harm."
John added, "Don't mention that wicked girl. I've never had a daughter like her in my life."
The elegant man who had fired the gun walked up to them and glanced coldly at Roslin on the ground. When he looked up at Linda, his eyes were full of tenderness. "Linda, are you okay? It's my fault for putting you in danger."
Hearing Eric Walker's voice, Linda looked up at him with teary eyes and said, "Eric, it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself. It's my fault. Now Roslin... Woo-woo, I'm so scared."
Eric wanted to comfort her, but he had to restrain himself because of the people around them.
People in the Smith family kept comforting Linda.
"Linda, she treated you like that, but you still care about her. She deserved to die."
"Her death is the greatest help to society."
"Linda, you're too kind."
......
Eric looked at Linda who kept blaming herself and couldn't hide his love for her.
This was the person he liked. Linda was always so kind. She could even forgive Roslin though Roslin treated her so badly. However, Roslin was so malicious and had evil intentions. Roslin was a scourge to society if she was alive.
Linda listened to the people around her comforting her, and a hint of pride flashed across her lowered eyes.
