Lucas and Benjamin trailed behind Olivia, watching her composed and innocent demeanor. If they hadn't personally witnessed her snapping fingers and flooring thugs like a martial arts master, they might have believed her angelic act. Outside the police station, Lucas stretched and cast a curious glance at Olivia's retreating figure. He leaned toward Benjamin, lowering his voice.

"Mr. Benjamin, what's the deal with you and Olivia? You practically flew to her rescue. That's not your usual style.

Benjamin shot Lucas a glance before his gaze returned to Olivia's petite figure up ahead.

"Remember the person I mentioned-the one with great driving skills?" Benjamin asked. Lucas thought for a moment. "Yeah, you said you wanted to race them. What about it?"

"That person is her," Benjamin replied matter-of-factly

Lucas's jaw dropped.

"What? Her? You're kidding, right?" He couldn't reconcile the seemingly meek Olivia with the daredevil driver Benjamin had hyped up. "She's the one," Benjamin confirmed.

Lucas inhaled sharply. "Wait, so... have you raced her yet?"

"No," Benjamin said calmly. "This is only the second time we've met."

Lucas narrowed his eyes at his friend.

"Hold up-don't tell me... are you shy?"

Benjamin stiffened. "What nonsense are you talking about?"

Lucas smirked mischievously, then darted ahead to catch up with Olivia.

"Olivia!" Lucas called out. "Since we helped you out today, aren't you going to show some gratitude?"

Olivia paused, raising an eyebrow.

"Thanks for your help," she said simply, then turned to leave.

"Wait, that's it?" Lucas exclaimed, rushing in front of her. "A simple "thank you' and you're done?"

"What else do you want?" Olivia asked, genuinely puzzled.

Lucas leaned in. "Don't you have some other way of showing gratitude?"

Without hesitation, Olivia clutched her bag protectively

"I don't have money."

"Alright, listen," Lucas tried again. "I've heard you're a great driver. My friends and I are racing tonight. Wanna join?" "No," Olivia replied without hesitation.

But then he had an idea. Leaning closer, he smirked.

"Don't you want to know who sent those thugs after you?"

That got Olivia's attention. She paused, narrowing her eyes at Lucas.

"You know who it is?"

Lucas chuckled. "Lock Bar is my usual hangout. If that Mr. Armstrong is who I think he is, I probably know

him."

Olivia's curiosity was piqued. She didn't know anyone who might go to such lengths to target her, and this lead could save her a lot of time. "What do you want?" she asked cautiously.

"Here's the deal," Lucas said, grinning. "I'll take you to Lock Bar to find this Mr. Armstrong, but you have to come race with us tonight." Olivia considered the offer. She had intended to investigate Armstrong on her own, but Lucas's connection would make things faster. "Fine," she agreed after a moment.

Lucas clapped his hands together, triumphant. He turned to Benjamin with a sly grin.

"Mr. Benjamin, you're driving. Let's head to Lock Bar."

Then, leaning closer to his friend, he whispered conspiratorially, "Dude, I'm setting you up here. When we race tonight, you better make your move." Benjamin frowned, confused. "What move?"
