Naomi’s attitude was clear, and Hector gave up trying to persuade her. No matter what he said, it would be pointless.

It was just a case of one willing to give and the other willing to receive. Hector didn’t know why he cared so much, but recently, he’d noticed something was off with himself.

At first, he just kept thinking about Naomi, wondering what he was doing. Then he wanted to see him all the time, and he tried

every possible excuse to stay with him.

But even so, some feelings began to form in his heart and grew stronger. He wasn’t satisfied with the status quo anymore. Hector was a psychologist.

He had treated many unusual psychological issues. He naturally encountered situations like this, where people fell in love with someone of the same sex but couldn’t accept they were gay

Hector would encourage them to truly understand themselves, explore who they were, and then accept their most genuine feelings. And lately, it seemed he was also going through a similar mental process.

After wrestling with his internal struggles and examining his feelings, Hector had to admit that he was in love with a person of the same sex, and that person was Naomi.

This left him feeling conflicted and torn. It was hard to accept certain things graciously when they happened to you. He even felt somewhat unfamiliar with himself.

He always thought he was firm in his beliefs, knew himself well, and understood his life goals and aspirations. But after meeting Naomi, everything was turned upside down.

Of course, he didn’t have any prejudice against gay people. He could even accept that he was attracted to another man. But what pained him was knowing that Naomi could never love him back.

Hector thought Naomi was straight and liked beautiful girls. And Naomi was indeed always surrounded by beautiful girls. Plus, he was sure Naomi had feelings for Cynthia. The attraction was just too apparent.

He even started to feel a hint of jealousy towards Cynthia. He used to see himself as a relaxed, easygoing observer of the world’s drama of love and heartbreak.

He could usually maintain his composure, watching from the sidelines, clearing up others‘ doubts, and moving in and out of the effects of those things as he pleased. But recently, his beliefs were rapidly crumbling.

It turned out he was just an ordinary person, too–with all the desires and greed of a common man. But ironically, the one thing he wanted was something he could neither strive for nor achieve.

This made him extremely miserable. As the car zoomed along the overpass, Hector gazed at the bustling neon lights flashing past, feeling as if there were a heavy stone weighing on his heart.

Soon, the car arrived at Azuregaze Mountain. Hector and Naom were neighbors, and their villas were right next to each other. Now, the gate between their yards was of no real use.

Naomi had practically made herself at home in Hector’s place. Often, she would return drunk after a night out and mistakenly enter Hector’s house, thinking it was her own, and then pass out there.

Although Hector was helpless, he had gotten used to preparing hangover soup every night. After parking the car, Hector felt a sudden, inexplicable Irritation.

“Naomi, go back to your own place,” he said, but there was no response from Naomi. Hector turned his head to look over. Naomi had actually fallen asleep leaning against the car window She looked really beautiful while sleeping, even when she

was dead drunk.

But when she was asleep, her manners were so refined. She did snore or grind her teeth like some men do. Her breathing was steady and gentle.

Hector thought. He has long eyelashes. They create small shadows under his eyelids under the light. It is uncommon to see a man with such long lashes!

He differed from most men in many ways though he smoked, drank, and liked tattoos.

He always looked clean and fresh. His skin was fair and smooth, like a peeled, soft–boiled egg.

Not sure why, but just a moment ago, Hector’s mind was really restless, and now, seeing Naomi peacefully asleep, his mood. suddenly calmed down.

He turned and watched her for a long time. He finally couldn’t resist moving closer, and when he was really close, he could smell her fragrance.

It wasn’t like any men’s perfume but more of a light floral scent mixed with a hint of tobacco. Surprisingly, it wasn’t unpleasant.

His fingers brushed against Naomi’s cheek. It was warm, just as he thought it would be. His skin was smooth and soft.

It was just like that of the person in the book. He wondered why he could have such soft skin.

Hector’s fingers gently traced down Naomi’s cheek, finally pausing on her ruby lips. Her lips were bright red.

They were not only red but also glossy–like shining jelly or ripe strawberries in the height of summer. The vivid color had an irresistible allure, igniting his desire to possess them.

Hector’s heart fluttered. He didn’t know what he was thinking, but his lips naturally moved closer.

His heart began to pound wildly. He knew what he was doing, but he couldn’t stop himself, nor did he want to.

As if driven by a strange desire, he thought that splash of red was the most alluring thing in the world.

His lips moved closer as his heartbeat pounded violently. A desire that was usually suppressed seemed to turn into a beast, breaking free of its cage. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

It started taking over everything, growing stronger and stronger. At this moment, he couldn’t control it or hold it back.

His lips were already against Naomi’s. Their noses brushed, and they were almost breathing each other’s air. Hector almost held his breath.

The warm, soft feeling from the kiss struck Hector like a strong lightning bolt, leaving him completely surprised. His body was stiff, unable to move. Hector closed his eyes, the unique taste from their lips spreading through him. Every cell in his body seemed to awaken, shouting and celebrating madly. He had no idea how long it had been. He suddenly opened his eyes, as if waking from a deep dream. His lips quickly pulled away.

He took a step back, sitting up straight. His eyes caught his own reflection in the rearview mirror–he looked as if he were facing a great threat, completely flustered.

Even in her sleep, Naomi seemed to sense something. She groggily opened her eyes and rubbed them, looking half–asleep. “Hector, are we home yet?”

Hector looked at him as if he were seeing a monster. Then he suddenly pulled open the car door and rushed out.

As soon as he entered the house, he slapped the door, leaving a loud crash. Naomi was completely bewildered, her drowsiness instantly disappearing

‘s got into him now? Naomi thought, feeling Hector was getting stranger lately. apparent reason, just like what he had done just now,

He had been acting abnormally for no.

If it weren’t for the fact that he used to be her little sidekick when they were kids, she wouldn’t want to hang out with him. anymore. What was with giving her the cold shoulder all the tige?

Naomi got out of the car, jogging toward the house to get some answers, only to discover that Hector had locked the door from the inside.

She tried the password, but it wouldn’t open. Even the fingerprint scanner was unresponsive, no matter how hard she tried. Naomi was starting to get angry,

What is wrong with him? Naomi thought. But she wasn’t one to give up easily. Friends should talk things out when something’s bothering them.

Why be so secretive? So she quickly climbed the tree in the yard. Conveniently, the tree led straight to Hector’s balcony. Hector likely never expected Naomi to climb the tree. After he got up, he just wanted to see if Naomi had left.

As soon as the glass door of the balcony was opened, they were face to face.
