Chapter 16
Chapter 16
Grabiella's POV
I received a call from Grandma Felicia requesting that I drop Xander at Hills Group International. I
traveled promptly to the firm and waited in the reception area but was summoned for an urgent photo
shoot. I contacted Grandma Felicia to inform her that we were scheduled for a mandatory photo
session and that I had arrived but had seen no one, but the pretty receptionist. After approximately
three minutes, a man walked down, and Xander seemed to recognize him, telling me Grandma Felicia
had sent him to pick up Xander. I sped away, leaving Xander in the care of the gentleman.
Javier’s POV
"Fuck!."
I couldn’t even see Xavier’s mother. In any case, it's OK. I hired someone to arrange the room he
would stay in a while visiting me last week, and I was done for the day. Xavier and I visited a video
game shop in order to purchase some games. He was selecting everything I wanted. When I initially
met him, I requested that he call me Javier, but this child addressed me as Daddy instead, presumably
because we looked similar and no one would mock him for being fatherless.
"You know, Daddy, I've been pleading with my mother to buy me these for Uncle Alex, but they claimed
I was too young for these games, and since my mother and uncle Alex aren’t here. You and I are going
to play, right?" I chuckled. What a cunning little man.
"True, no one will notice us. High five! "
We proceeded to pay for our purchases. I wasn't concerned about clothes, since I had been buying for
him throughout the week. We purchased some ice cream. I intended to compromise with what the
majority of children love, but Xavier insisted on vanilla and strawberry ice cream. I was taken aback
when he chose my favorite. We paid and made our way home. I could tell that Xavier and I had a lot inNôvelDrama.Org holds this content.
common. As we drove home, Ethan informed me that he would be stopping over for some games.
When we returned home, I escorted him to his room. He was overjoyed. We made our way to the
gaming room, where we entertained ourselves until Ethan arrived. He maintained his gaze on Xavier,
then on me.
"Is this young man your son, Javier?" "Asked Ethan.
"I ought to adopt him. He is mistaken for my son by everyone."
Sandra was around, one of my house helpers informed me after a while. I have no recall asking her
over. Javier was a guy who valued his privacy and was never pleased when others entered his home
without his knowledge.
