My Most Precious Wife

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 Don't Try to Divorce

"Let's divorce. Emily Gale was disheartened as she looked at the handsome man who most women will

be crazy for.

Hunter Jackson, the most eligible and desired man in Bentson City, has an air of mystery, distinguished

and handsome. But alas, he was not hers.

Married for three years, she did everything she could but couldn't get his love. After three years, she's

had enough, she's tired and she has given up.

"Divorce. I'll set you free. Henceforth we no longer have anything to do with each other. Emily endured

her heartache and refused to look at him.

Hunter was expressionless, deep in thoughts for two seconds, picked up the pen, and signed.

Thereafter he stood up and dashingly walked out. His tall and strong frame mesmerized the women in

the café.

That's his usual self. No matter what she did, it wouldn't leave an impression in his heart.

Since things are already at this stage, then we should part. Even though it hurts like crazy within her.

As Emily walked out of the café, her cell phone rang.

"Wendy", Emily answered the call and biting down on her lips said softly, "I listened to you and let him

sign the divorce agreement."

"Really, he signed them?" Wendy Gale seemed to be hiding her excitement and glee.

Emily frowned, puzzled, and asked, "He signed, Wendy, you ..."

"Ha ha ha, Emily, you really divorced Hunter, ha ha ha, you fool!"

"... Sister, what do you mean? Emily was even more puzzled. She felt that something was amiss.

"Nothing, I'm happy! With you divorcing Hunter, I'll now have a chance with him! That's why I'm happy!"

Standing in the building across from Emily, Wendy laughed hysterically, "Why do you think that Hunter

has always been so cold towards you?"

"Why?" Emily asked clutching her cell phone and unknowingly walking onto the main road.

"Because he always thinks that you were responsible for the death of his younger brother. Do you

expect him to be nice to the woman who hurt his little brother?" This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"I did not!!" Emily protested, "I have nothing to do with Vincent's death, are ... are you?

Emily's eyes suddenly widened, she realized, "It's you! Wendy! You did this!"

"So what? Do you want to tell Hunter? What a pity, it's too late." Wendy's diabolical laughter seemed to

come from the depths of hell.

"I won't forgive you! Wendy Gale, you had been pretending all this while and lying to me!" Emily hated

herself for realizing too late!

"I'm afraid you no longer have any chance." Wendy looked down at the figure on the road, with an evil

smile said, "Look to your left."

Emily glanced to the left, but at that instance, a loud impact rang out.

PAIN! Bone shattering pain permeated through her entire body. She was like a leaf drifting in the wind

after being hit by the truck, her body fell gently to the ground.

Her life flashed before her eyes. Half her life was spent obsessed over Hunter but couldn't even get his

affectionate gaze. If she has a chance to live again, she wouldn't ever love him again. She'll never love

a man who doesn't know how to love...

Emily closed her eyes. She can no longer see that handsome man who every woman will be crazy for,

Hunter Jackson, running out of the crowd and lifted up her blood-soaked body. And she could not see

that the man who every one idolizes, was in tears. She could not see that within her bag, out came the

divorce agreement and where Hunter was supposed to sign, was written the words, OVER MY DEAD

BODY!

Emily's body turned icy cold, with the last breath, she's gone...
