My Identities Were Revealed After Marriage

Chapter 29

Chapter 29

Upon entering the study, Andrew Smith gestured for Levy to take a seat and then began speaking, "I

called you here because I can see how much you love my daughter. From the way you look at her, I

can tell it's the same way I look at my wife. I fell in love with her the first time I saw her." Andrew's

words were meant to create a comfortable atmosphere and assure Levy of his understanding.

He continued, "Please take good care of my daughter. She is innocent and naive, still young in this

world, and could easily become a target for many people." Hearing Andrew describe Sandra as

innocent and young, Levy couldn't help but glance at him, wondering if her parents truly understood

their daughter. In the short time he had spent with Sandra, he had already realized that she possessed

a level of cunning and ruthlessness that surpassed many. Could such a person truly be considered

innocent? Nonetheless, he agreed to Andrew's request and replied, "Don't worry, Father-in-law, I will

protect her and ensure not even a single scratch comes upon her."

Andrew then said, "Since you have married my daughter, you should call me Daddy from now on, and

this home is your home. Your sole responsibility is to look after my daughter and take care of her." With

those words, they exited the study room.

Upon returning to the sitting room, Sandra and her mother were engaged in conversation. Levy and

Andrew gestured for them to take their seats. Sandra couldn't help but ask Levy, "Did my dad make

things difficult for you?"

Levy replied, "No, everything is fine." Sandra's father interjected, teasingly saying, "You've only been

married for a few days and you're already biased towards your husband. What will happen if you're

married for years?"

Sandra glared at her father, causing everyone to burst into laughter. However, she was so furious that

she was about to walk away. Sensing her anger, Levy quickly intervened, saying, "She's my wife, so

she has to take care of me. What's wrong with that? Besides, you have your wife, so let her take care

of you too."

Matilda, Sandra's mother, attempted to change the topic and create a lively atmosphere. She asked

Sandra if she had prepared everything she needed for school and at what time she would be leaving.

Sandra's parents expressed their desire to accompany her on her first day of school, as they had never

had the opportunity to do so during her high school years.

Sandra, feeling reluctant to accept their offer but not wanting to disappoint them, replied, "I will be

leaving the Anthony family house at 7:30 am, and it's a two-hour drive, so I may reach the school

around 10 am." She added, "I suppose I will meet you directly at the school gate, and Levy has already

prepared everything I need for school."

Hearing that Levy had taken care of all the preparations, Sandra's parents felt a mix of disappointment

and happiness. While they had wanted to go shopping with their daughter, they were glad that she had

someone looking after her. They then asked if Sandra would be staying in the school hostel or

commuting from the Anthony family house.

Sandra replied, "No, for the first month, I will be staying in the hostel to get accustomed to the school

environment. I took a year off, and after that, I will be living with Levy. He has a house near our

university, so it won't be troublesome to commute from there to school."

Her parents exchanged looks, silently conveying their thoughts about how fortunate their daughter was.

They assured her, "If you need anything, don't hesitate to call us or let us know. Even though you are

married, you are still our daughter and our only child."Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Sandra jokingly asked, "So if I wasn't your only child, you wouldn't care about me?" They responded,

"No, which parent wouldn't be proud of having a child like you?"

Levy, interjecting, said, "Don't worry, Father-in-law, I will make sure to take care of her and protect her

from any danger. After all, she is my wife, and it's my responsibility." They continued to chat about

various topics until late in the evening, after which they had dinner and then left for the Anthony family

mansion.

Upon arriving, they were greeted by Aunt Zia, Levy's personal maid. Families as influential as the

Anthony family have enemies from all corners of the world, both within and outside the family. Levy,

being the family head, was a prime target, necessitating constant vigilance regarding what he

consumed and where he went. That's why his travels were always shrouded in mystery. Aunt Zia

informed them that the members of the Anthony family had arrived and were currently having dinner in

the dining room. She was concerned that they might make Sandra's life difficult if she were to meet

them without proper preparation.

Levy nodded in acknowledgement and led Sandra into the house. They proceeded directly to the dining

area, where his parents, grandparents, uncle, aunt, cousin, nephew, and sister were having dinner.

They greeted them as a sign of respect for their elders.
