Chapter 31 Medicine
Christopher couldn’t help but frown. He had only been back for a few days. How could the borders
already be in trouble?
When he left, he was sure that all the major threats had already been eradicated.
“What exactly is going on?” Christopher asked coldly.
“We only just got the specific details. The drug lord Tyrone Xanders and his subordinates have
managed to infiltrate the border through the forest. Apart from you, no one in the entire Draco Battalion
knows the way!” Lupine said helplessly.
“I’ve already been discharged. Besides, isn’t Tyrone your favorite? Why don’t you go back?”
Christopher said.
“I don’t have your medicinal skills! If I get poisoned in there, I’ll be dead for sure! You don’t want to send
me to hell personally, do you, General?” Lupine replied.
After all, everyone in the Draco Battalion knew that Christopher’s skills were unbeatable when it came
to medicine. Even the military doctors’ abilities paled in the face of his sheer talent.
He had been known for entering the forest alone and killing twenty high-level mercenaries.
“I’ll make you guys some medicine as soon as possible. You all must set off tomorrow! Everything else
is up to you,” Christopher said and hung up before Lupine could say anything.
After hanging up, he quickly left Nirvana Residence and called Dennis on the way. Dennis answered
quickly and said, “Hello, Mr. Yaeger. What could I help you with this late at night?”
“I’m about to send a list of herbs to you. Acquire them for me as soon as possible. I need them right
now,” Christopher replied.
Soon enough, Christopher had sent a list of the herbs he needed to Dennis. As the richest man in
Jadeborough, he obviously had extraordinary resources and managed to prepare all the herbs that
Christopher needed within two hours.
Christopher had also picked out where he would be creating the medicine. Everything from the stove to
the bottles and containers he needed had already been prepared.
Before the Yaeger family chased him out, Christopher’s medicine skills had been their strongest asset.
Making some natural herbal medicine was basically child’s play for him.
“Do you need me to do anything, Mr. Yaeger?” Dennis asked in a low voice.
After all, back when Christopher’s grandfather made herbal medicine, there were plenty of people
around him to help. Christopher simply smiled. “I’ve gotten used to making medicine on my own, and
the temperature I use is much higher than my grandfather’s. I’d rather you go and get some rest, Mr.
Hubbard.”
Dennis nodded and left while Christopher was already starting to make the medicine.
He worked all night and when he finally emerged from the room, it was already eight in the morning. In
those few hours, he had already made all of the necessary medicine that Lupine would need in the
forest, including a general antidote and some topical medicine to cure injuries. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
Christopher didn’t let Dennis know of his departure. Instead, he was off after contacting Lupine.

Back in Cordrington Corporation at Jadeborough, Jared was just telling his father about his plan.
Suddenly, a text appeared on Harold’s phone and he checked it before saying to his son, “Don’t worry,
Jared! Mr. Larson just sent me a text. The secretary that had suddenly appeared in the city has already
been transferred over to Jadeborough!”
