Bella could not understand.

Harold from the Verdant Gang had taken two hundred people and rushed to Rivenesco on a ship. How could the ship simply sink?

How could so many people disappear suddenly?

There had been shipwrecks in the wide river outside Rivenesco, but she had never heard of such a huge incident.

“What does the Verdant Gang say about this?” Bella asked a member of the Verdant Gang.

“Our leader has ordered a full investigation. We are doing our best to look for them. We must find them no matter what!”

Bella frowned.

Harold was an investor in Lady Covey’s Diaries. If something had happened to him, could the filming still

continue?

Bella felt uncertain.

She did not understand how Dustin was so lucky.

Alvin had led the Blackguard to look for Dustin and had gone missing too. There had been no news about

them.

When Harold led two hundred elites of the Verdant Gang to Rivenesco on a ship, they disappeared ‘together with the ship.

She did not think that Dustin could do something like that.

In her eyes, Dustin was nothing but a servant of the Wyatt family.

He did not have the ability or resources to pull that off.

“Bella, I have bad news…” said Bella’s assistant fearfully as she stepped forward.

“Don’t tell me the show’s on hold!” Bella’s face darkened.

“Well, I guess it makes sense. If something happens to the investor, it’s only natural for production to pause,” she said.

She was not worried that much.

Harold was an important person in the Verdant Gang. How could anything unexpected happen to him?

She could just continue filming when he returned.

She was not concerned at all. Besides, Bella had plenty of other offers, and she already had some good scripts from some major adaptations that would receive a lot of attention if they were filmed.

“Bella, it’s not on pause. It has been canceled,” whispered her assistant. “The Verdant Gang pulled their funding, so the drama was canceled.”

“What?” Bella frowned unhappily.

“Didn’t Harold guarantee that there would be no problem with the funding?” She felt angry.

“What the hell is the Verdant Gang doing?”

The assistant was so terrified that her face turned pale and she urged Bella to keep her voice down.

The decision was made by the higher–ups of the Verdant Gang. How could they question it?

“Fine, let’s just move on. Check my schedule and tell me which drama I’m filming next,” said Bella impatiently with a wave of her hand.

At the beginning of the year, she accepted several projects. Everyone was waiting for her to start filming.

Over the past few years, she had become a celebrity. Famous directors and investors would try to please her, beg her, and invite her to film with them.

Some investors even claimed that only Bella could be cast in their dramas, and they were willing to wait no matter how long that took.

“Bella, you’ve been canceled as well as all your upcoming projects,” said the assistant softly.

“What did you say?!”

Bella could not remain calm anymore. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

All the roles she had accepted were carefully selected from a pile of scripts.

All of them were already generating a huge buzz before the filming even started.

But that was not the worst part.

She, Bella Wyatt, was canceled?!

Who had the guts to do that?

Everyone had been begging her to work with them!

“Tell me, which drama? Which company, director, or investor did that? How dare they cancel me?!” Bella was furious.

The assistant did not dare to answer her.

“Have you lost your voice suddenly?” Bella glared at the assistant.

“Bella, it’s not just one drama. You’ve been dropped from every project…” Her assistant’s voice trailed off.

“What did you say?! Say that again!” Bella’s mind went blank, and she shouted at the assistant so loudly that her voice cracked.
