Mr. You, Please Dote On Me

Chapter 21: Become In-laws

Shiyao knew from her mother that they were friends, and she took sick granny to hospital last time. Now that granny had recovered, she asked her mother out for dinner.

Jiang Fengyi tightly held Shiyao’s hands praising her with eyes full of delight, which really embarrassed Shiyao that she felt this meal was not so simple.

Granny kept looking out of the door as if waiting for someone, and then turned to the butler, “Go out and see where A’ze is. It’s so impolite to be late.”

‘A’ze?’

The name made Shiyao’s heart tremble.

‘Is it….’

Before the butler reached out, the door was pushed open, “Sorry I’m late. The traffic is bad.”

The familiar voice confirmed that Shiyao was right. She was totally messed up.

And You Ze seemed to see Shiyao, looking over at her and cocking his eyebrow. Shiyao gave him a guilty smile, really wanting to bury her head under the table.

She rejected You Ze, scolded him on the phone, but showed up at the dinner today. Would he suspect she was playing hard-to-get to seduce him?

She really didn’t know anything!

“Traffic? Why don’t you come on foot?” Jiang Fengyi glared at You Ze, and then smilingly introduced him to Shiyao. “Yaoyao, this is my grandson You Ze, you should have met?”

“Many times,” You Ze spoke first in a deep voice. “Nana, she is the friend I told you, a very interesting girl.”

Shiyao had to choke back the word “never”, forcing a laugh.

Shiyao’s mother pretended to be surprised and smiled at granny, “I’m wondering who sent Shiyao back last time; unexpectedly he is your grandson, Aunt Jiang. Look at the two children. What a coincidence!”

“That’s it!” Shiyao thought.

Before Jiang Fengyi arranged him a seat, You Ze sat down next to Shiyao.

Quite satisfied, Jiang Fengyi held the hands of Shiyao’s mother, whispering to her.

Shiyao was eating cherries, while the corner of her eyes were resting at the man, who was playing with his shirt sleeves and revealing a small half of his beautiful and lean arm. Shiyao was distracted and her thoughts went wild.

He had spurted on her with the strong arms grabbing her slender legs more than once. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.

Frightened by the images in her mind, she was choked by the cherry in her mouth, which made her face redder, and she tried hard to swallow it.

“Slow down!” You Ze offered her a glass of water and glanced at her casually, as if snickering, “Your face is a little red. What are you thinking about?”

“Nothing, it’s the cherry!” Shiyao drank water in the glass to cover up her embarrassment.

After a while, Shiyao got closer to him and whispered, “Thanks for your help. I didn’t mean to scold you. Could you please forget it?”

You Ze merely said, “Hm.”

Shiyao thought he forgave her and felt relieved, “Well, the dinner tonight has nothing to do with me, and my mother knowing your grandma is also a surprise to me, so….”

“That’s ok. I meant to ask you out for meal and say something, anyway, this dinner just do it.”

Shiyao was confused.

As all the dishes were reserved, they ate and chat.

Jiang Fengyi glanced at the two youngsters, grinning at Shiyao’s mother, “Xiaoqing, A’ze is only a few years older than Yaoyao, and they get along well. Why don’t we become in-laws?”

Shiyao was totally stunned.

‘I didn’t talk much to You Ze. How do you think we get on well with each other?’

“You flatter me,” Shiyao’s mother said. “A’ze is excellent, but my daughter is so stupid and lazy, and even can’t cook. It’s unfair to A’ze.”

“Mom, this is too much.” Shiyao protested.

“Never mind, I like Yaoyao,” Jiang Fengyi said with a smile, and praised Shiyao again. “She is pretty and well-behaved, and A’ze likes her. This is perfect!”

Shiyao’s mother smiled awkwardly, “Thank you, Aunt Jiang.”

The two began to talk about wedding, no room for Shiyao to interrupt.

Shiyao anxiously kicked You Ze under the table and whispered, “Mr. You, can you say something? Getting married is no trivial matter. You don’t want it, do you?”
