Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 518

Selena pressed her hands against his solid chest, trying to push him away, but her strength was no match for the fury of the man in front of her. Even through their clothes, she could feel the searing heat beneath her palms, their bodies locked together so tightly that not

even a whisper of air could pass between them, with certain areas burning with intensity...

Panic started to creep in. This wasn't like last time; then, his anger was more about suspicion and testing the waters, just wanting to check if she had really been with someone else. Now, he was consumed by a tidal wave of betrayal, and he wasn't going to let her off easy! She swallowed hard, her voice quivering, "Everett, please, don't do this. Calm down!"

Calm down? In this situation, she thought she could just casually ask him to chill out?

Everett let out a laugh, but it was more of a cold, mocking snarl. He leaned in closer, his body pressing against hers with heat, capturing her delicate earlobe like a lover's caress.

"What exactly should I stop?" His voice was a husky whisper, sending shivers down her spine. His hand roamed boldly, exploring without restraint.

His words cut deep, "Selena, weren't you the one trying to provoke me last time? Trying to rile me up to let you go. Why not now?"

"Maybe this time, I'll be the fool again, willingly falling for your tricks!"

His rough actions were driven by anger and resentment, causing Selena both pain and embarrassment, her chest rising and falling rapidly. Yet, she bit her lower lip, refusing to respond to his provocations or make any undignified sounds.

Her silence only stoked Everett's fire. He stared at her for a moment, then sneered, "So, you're putting on this brave act to stay loyal to Callum, huh?"

"Selena, you really have a talent for hurting people!"

With that, his hand gripped her neck as he kissed her fiercely. This kiss was even more brutal than before, all rage and intensity, more a release of emotion than an actual kiss. Selena felt overwhelmed, her brows knitted in discomfort, struggling to breathe as faint purple veins appeared on her forehead. Yet, she refused to speak, plead, or show weakness.

Her hands clung to the dark grey bedsheet beneath her, crumpling it into a mess. Everett's fire had been completely ignited by her.

Whether it was the fire in his heart or

the desire in his body, he desperatelynoveldrama

needed to

embrace her, to have her,

to feel her truly beneath him, within reach, and not like the past three years, where she would vanish by morning, leaving behind a void of loneliness.

Everett propped himself up slightly, his dark eyes studying Selena's

traced her soft skin, deliberately playing with her sensitive

enduring face. His fingers ly

collarbones, seeing her body tremble even more, her breathing growing heavier.

In that aspect, nothing had changed. His heart felt a bit lighter.

He was curious to see how long she could keep up her indifference. He didn't believe that after experiencing a man like him, she could completely forget him, leaving no trace at all.

"Selena, we've got all the time in the world now!"

His tone was fight, but Selena could

sense the danger. When he was at his most dangerous, it never showed on the surface. Instead, it was when he chatted calmly with you that the beast inside was truly unleashed.

Even recalling his tormenting ways made Selena's heart race, despite all the time that had passed.
