Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)

Chapter 3512 Mr Larden Is Back!

"C'mon, everyone, put your backs into it! This load's almost done!"

Down at the docks on Larch Island, shirtless men were hauling goods nonstop, muscles glistening under the sun. A particularly burly man led the group, shouting orders at the top of his lungs. After Matthew had left, Mack had taken charge of dock operations alongside the Veiled Assembly.

"Boss, there's a dozen ships approaching from afar!"

A sharp-eyed worker pointed toward the sea, where several large vessels were making their way closer.

"Isn't this load all we're expecting today? Tertius, go check it out!"

Tertius, dressed sharply in a suit, sprinted out of the office. Grabbing a pair of binoculars, he focused on the approaching ships.

"Mack, they're from the Lopez Mining Group. They're delivering iron ore."

Tertius' report earned a nod of approval from Mack. It wasn't unusual for the Lopez Mining Group's fleet to make deliveries, and over time, it had become a regular occurrence. Suddenly, Tertius' face lit up with excitement. "Mack, Matteo's back!"

His declaration hit the dockworkers like a lightning bolt, and the bustling scene froze for a moment before breaking into a wave of smiles and cheers.

"Deputy Larden is back!"

"Our good days are finally here again!"

"Finally, no more surviving on three meals of leeks every day under Mr. Hancock!"

The workers' enthusiastic outburst left Mack's expression twitching.

A few days ago, he had taken the Dornia Emeralds Tertius had handed him and gone grocery shopping. Somehow, he had ended up buying nothing but leeks-enough to make everyone gag at the sight of them. It had gotten so bad that some

couldn't even look at anything green without feeling queasy.

"What are you all hollering about? Did you finish today's work yet?" Mack barked, his frustration evident.

These b*stards, all they know is to stir things up. Did I buy all those leeks by mistake? No-it was to get you lot to eat healthier! The least you can do is appreciate my effort! "Pfft," a few of the workers muttered under their breath before grudgingly returning to work.

Mack set down the crate he was carrying and grabbed a nearby telescope. Sure enough, standing at the bow of the lead ship was Matthew, dressed in his usual pristine white attire. "Well, I'll be d*mned. Matteo's been gone so long, but he doesn't look like he's changed one bit," Mack muttered, setting the telescope down and heading toward the dock. Matthew would disembark soon, and Mack figured he'd better go welcome him. Absolutely not because he wanted to avoid any mention of buying over a thousand pounds of leeks.

As the Lopez Mining Group's fleet drew closer, they slowed down, dropping massive anchors to secure

the ships. Wide iron gaine

were lowered, bridging the gap

between the vessels and the dock.

Matthew, calm and collected, stepped off the ship in his signature white attire.noveldrama

Waiting at the dock were Mack and Tertius, their faces lighting up as they spotted him. Matthew greeted them with a smile and a soft chuckle. "What are you two doing here?"

Scratching the back of his head, Mack quickly came up with an excuse. "We're here to welcome you back, of course!"

"Exactly!" Tertius chimed in, careful

not to expose Mack's leek-related blunder. A self-proclaimed leek enthusiast, Tertius could never get enough of them-leek turnovers, in particular, were his guilty pleasure. No matter how many he ate, he never tired of them.

"Well, having two people to greet me? I must be truly honored."
