Chapter 587 I Hope He Explodes!
Chapter 587 I Hope He Explodes!
“There was a man who approached me and told me about my family. The man’s son was there, too.
We might have… I haven’t actually checked how far along I am. I went to Lotharia before this, too. I
don’t really remember the dates, either. So I actually don’t know who this baby belongs to,” Clarissa
confessed.
Chanel instantly knew that Clarissa was talking about Seth.
She had overheard what Clarissa and George were talking about back at the restaurant.
To top it off, George had said that Seth was staying at La Monde Hotel. NôvelDrama.Org owns all © content.
“You don’t know who the child belongs to?” Chanel was utterly floored. “Clarissa, I didn’t know you…”
Clarissa had her head ducked as she drank water. Then, she nodded.
After staying for a while longer, Chanel left.
Clarissa was sure Chanel would spout some nonsense to Damien. It was likely that she would tell him
that the baby could be his or someone else’s.
Clarissa hoped he would explode from anger!
She couldn’t wait for the next day.
After all, he had forced her into the position of being his mistress.
Of course, he might not care at all. That was fine. She didn’t care the slightest.
Clarissa sat down and made herself a cup of tea to drink.
She was feeling great, triumph and delight filling her.
After leaving Clarissa’s house, Chanel went straight to Damien’s.
Damien was sitting on the couch, reading. However, his heart wasn’t in the book.
Some time later, Neil went over to talk to him.
“Daddy, why hasn’t Mommy been home?” Neil asked, lying sweetly on Damien’s leg.
“If Mommy brings you a little brother or sister, would you like that?” Damien patted Neil’s head.
“Is Mommy living somewhere else because she’s having a baby?” Neil asked Damien as he raised his
head.
“Yes,” Damien said.
He was planning to find an opportunity to bring Clarissa back here. After all, he felt uneasy leaving her
out there alone.
Just then, Chanel arrived.
When she saw that Damien was home, she was overjoyed.
Neil glared at his father instantly, his eyes sharp with anger. “It’s your fault! You were messing around
with women and chased Mommy away.”
Huffing, the little boy stomped to the backyard to play with Mrs. Faber.
Chanel sat next to Damien.
“What brought you here?” Damien asked her.
“I went to see Clarissa after I heard some students say that she’s pregnant. I wanted to come see you
this week, so I went to visit her along the way. I bought her some things too,” Chanel said softly. “Her
pregnancy sounds difficult. She keeps throwing up.”
Damien frowned at that. “Okay.”
“She said the baby’s almost two months now, so this is all normal. It’ll be better later on,” Chanel
continued.
Since Clarissa didn’t know whose baby it was, Chanel had to muddy the waters even further.
“Two months?” Damien was confused. So, it wasn’t just one month like he had initially assumed?
“That’s right. Clarissa told me so.”
Sitting on the couch, Damien rested his chin on his hand and started thinking. Clarissa had hidden her
pregnancy from him and kept being dodgy about it. Now, Chanel said that Clarissa was nearly two
months pregnant. Was the baby even his?
Two months ago, Seth had been in Merania as well.
Damien took a cigarette out and lit it up. The smoke caused Chanel to cough badly, but Damien didn’t
even notice.
Chanel sensed that Damien was beginning to suspect Clarissa, so she didn’t say anything more.
