Chapter 1215: The Formation Compass
Chapter 1215: The Formation Compass
They walked further, passing through countless stone doors. Since their last encounter, Chris Shelby and his group hadn't come across any more Terracotta Warriors.
Suddenly, as they entered another stone door, a Terracotta Warrior wielding a bronze sword leaped out. Chris Shelby grabbed the bronze sword with one hand and smashed the warrior's head with his other fist.
Boom! A loud crash echoed as the warrior's head shattered.
"Ah!" A scream suddenly drew Chris Shelby and his group's attention.
"Something's happening! Let's check it out!" Chris Shelby ordered, rushing towards the source of the scream.
In the passageway, Devil's Frown was fiercely battling a Terracotta Warrior. He wielded a long sword and slashed at the warrior, shattering its body into pieces.
At that moment, several more Terracotta Warriors emerged from other passages, quickly surrounding Devil's Frown. His face turned grim. He had been separated from Peterson Abernathy and the others and now faced an unexpected attack from these warriors.
Even for Devil's Frown, handling so many Terracotta Warriors was challenging. Spotting Chris Shelby, he urgently shouted, "Chris Shelby, we're still allies! Help me!"
Chris Shelby frowned but remained silent. Seeing no response, Devil's Frown continued to shout, "Chris Shelby, think carefully! We're in this together. If I die, it won't be good for you either! This tomb is far more mysterious than we imagined. To find the Dragon Emblem scrolls, we must unite!"
Chris Shelby hesitated but had to admit Devil's Frown made sense. This tomb was even more bizarre than Manson Jefferson's tomb. Ancient Terracotta Warriors with combat abilities were beyond belief. If not for witnessing it himself, Chris Shelby would have thought he had traveled back in time.
In ancient battles depicted in movies, Terracotta Warriors were formidable. Now, facing them in reality made finding the Dragon Emblem scrolls seem even harder. Though he had conflicts with Devil's Frown and Peterson Abernathy, they were still allies until they found the scrolls.
If Devil's Frown and the others died, Chris Shelby would face this tomb alone. Keeping them alive could at least distract the warriors and act as cannon fodder.
With this thought, Chris Shelby charged forward. Boom! Boom! Boom! One by one, he smashed four or five Terracotta Warriors into pieces. Devil's Frown finally breathed a sigh of relief but didn't have time to relax as more warriors emerged from other passages and charged at Chris Shelby.
"Hmph!" Chris Shelby snorted coldly. He gripped his sword and slashed at the approaching warriors without hesitation.
Meanwhile, he turned to Tiger and said, "Tiger, quickly gather everyone and deal with these warriors. More will appear soon."
The warriors kept coming in waves; who knew how many more would follow? It was better to eliminate them quickly and move on.
"Yes!" Tiger responded immediately, leading the royal guards to attack the warriors. In moments, all the emerging warriors lay defeated on the ground.
After eliminating them, Chris Shelby said sternly, "Let's leave here quickly before more warriors arrive!"
The interconnected passages allowed Chris Shelby to sense a large group of warriors approaching fast. He led Tiger and the others away swiftly into another passage. Seeing them leave, Devil's Frown hesitated but decided to follow. Alone against so many warriors meant certain death; staying with Chris Shelby offered a better chance
of survival.
After traversing numerous passages for an unknown time and ensuring no warriors followed them, Chris Shelby's group finally relaxed and rested briefly on the ground.
Though Chris Shelby wasn't tired at all-he could fight these warriors day and night without issue-Tiger and the royal guards needed rest due to their limited strength compared to him.
Chris Shelby glanced at Devil's Frown and asked, "Why are you alone here?"
Devil's Frown looked pale from his near-death experience and escape. Hearing Chris Shelby's question startled him for a moment before he replied hesitantly, "I was with

we got separated..."
He didn't mention that without encountering Chris Shelby's group, he might not have survived today.
Chris Shelby narrowed his eyes coldly and asked, "How did you get out of the trap formation?"
He knew that when he escaped it before, it was thanks to a rat guiding him out. He doubted Peterson Abernathy's group had such luck too.
After a pause, Devil's Frown said reluctantly, "The Abernathy family has deep roots; they possess an ancient formation compass that can discern directions. With it, we escaped the trap formation." Hearing this made Chris Shelby marvel inwardly at how impressive the Abernathy family was-even having such a magical item like a formation compass showed he had underestimated them.
Staring at Devil's Frown intently, Chris Shelby asked again, "Do you have the formation compass?"
"Well..." Devil's Frown hesitated without answering directly.
Chris Shelby's eyes bore into him as
he said firmly, "Devil's Frown, you
