Chapter 102
Chapter 102
Lottie’s POV
As we pick up Del from the hospital the next morning, I can see the exhaustion and boredom in his eyes. His face was still plastered and patched up, due to the stitches and nose reset he had to endure…
He’s relieved to be leaving the hospital, but the turmoil he’s been through over the past few days is still evident.
Anna and I offer him encouraging smiles, letting him know that we’re here for him as Alex helps him out of the hospital with his bags.
“Thank fuck I’m out of that room!” Del jokes, as we all chuckle and head to the car our spirits somewhat high that he was now able to leave the place.
The drive back is short due to Alex’s speeding, cutting the journey down completely.
As we pull up at Del’s home, a mountain of shock hits us all as I gasp loudly and slap a hand over my mouth in horror.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Alex yells, as Jace stands out front waiting for us also now looking furious.
“I’m going to fucking end her!” Del rages next, completely losing his temper and rightfully so as we all climb out of the car.
The front of his large house was now covered in graffiti, and the windows of his car had been smashed in. It’s a heartbreaking sight, and anger boils inside of me knowing that Clara must obviously be the one
behind all of this.
The graffiti read a mix of words such as ‘Bastard, Abuser‘ and even ‘Pervert which just completely crossed the fucking line!
“This is unforgivable,” Del mutters, his fists clenching. “She’s crossed every line she can and I won’t stop now until she’s six feet under.” He spits out the words like venom, as I eye Alex warily.
They wouldn’t actually kill her… at least I don’t think they would? Maybe teach her a lesson with
Rosalind and force her family out of town yes but kill her?
“We’ll make sure she doesn’t get away with this, I’m going to contact the fucking mental hospital to report her behaviour too! Let’s also call the cops on her as well? We have proof – the home cameras
would have caught her in the act!” Anna announces firmly, her eyes filled with determination as her plan settles in amongst the group.
“Maybe she’s right? The cops would have to take her in and do a mental evaluation if we report all of
the shit that she’s done! The hospital staff are also witnesses to her behaviour after she showed up there yesterday too! If we are lucky, then she will maybe even be locked away in a padded room for all of eternity!” Jace concludes, as we walk around and absorb the severity of the damage.
Alex’s face is a mixture of anger and concern as he surveys the aftermath of her pathetic tantrum. “She’s gone too far. I won’t let her keep hurting you like this. We can report this, and try to get her locked up,
that’s the best mental torture to put her through! But first, I want Rosalind to pay her a visit!” A “P
utters, as Del and Jace eye him in understanding.
“Once I know that Rosalind has scared her a bit, we can gather in the camera footage from here and the hospital and report her to the cops!” He states next, as we all follow his lead. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
We begin helping Del to clean up the mess, as Alex makes a call to Rosalind, the skilled female fighter from the gym, putting her on loud speaker for us all to hear…
Alex briefly explains the updated situation to her, expressing the need for Clara’to be confronted soon.
To our surprise, Rosalind reveals that she’s already been keeping an eye on Clara and that she has plans to confront her today… perfect!
“I went to her address this morning and followed her around after that. Weirdly enough, she went to the hardware store. I’m parked out front here now she’s been in there a while already.” Rosalind says, her voice filled with confidence as she gives us the update.
“What the fuck is she buying from there? More hammers to try and hit me with again? I don’t think so! I’ll fucking tie that bitch to the back of my car and drag her around town!” Del rages, his dark nature shining through as my mouth pops open in horror.
He wouldn’t actually do that… would he? It was hard to tell now after everything she had done to him…
Alex’s eyes narrow, intrigued by Rosalind’s intentions. “What are you planning to do Rosalind?” He questions, as we await her response.
“I’ll give her a taste of her own medicine, let her know that we’re watching her every move. If she doesn’t back off after that, then I’ll be more than happy to teach her another lesson – one that she won’t forget.” She chirps down the line with a laugh, as Alex smirks.
Alex seems satisfied with Rosalind’s approach, trusting her skills and instincts
Rosalind handle Clara for now while we keep a close eye on the situation.
We all agree to let
“Call me back as soon as it’s done!” Alex informs her, as she agrees – ending the call.
As we spend the day cleaning and repairing the damage to Del’s home, we try to lift his spirits and stop him from completely going off the edge…
Del seems grateful for our support and assures us that he’s doing his best to stay in control of his
actions. He admits though, that he wants nothing more than to see this girl dead in a box…
As the day progresses, we manage to fix what we can of the damage done to Del’s home and car. Although it won’t be perfect, it’s a start, and we all work together to make the best of the situation.
Exhausted and emotionally drained, we decide to order some dinner and try to relax for a bit. Anna suggests watching a movie to take our minds off the chaos, and we all agree that it’s a good idea.
As we settle down on the couch with blankets and pillows, the tension in the room slowly eases. Watching the movie together brings a sense of comfort and normalcy, even amidst the turmoil that surrounds us.
Just as we’re starting to unwind, Alex’s phone rings. It’s Rosalind, finally calling him with an update…
We all perk up, ready to find out if the plan was a success…
“Hey Alex! It’s done!” Rosalind announces, as we all remain silent to hear what she has to say.
“How did it go? What happened?” Alex pushes, as we hear Rosalind start up her car.
“I grabbed her and threw her up against the wall! She began to scream, before I stuffed a rag into her mouth to silence her! She started crying after that, probably thinking that I was going to kill her!” Rosalind laughs darkly, as I envision the scene in my mind.
“I told her not to go near Del ever again or things would go a whole lot worse for her next time. I told her that you have eyes all over town and that you can have her killed in a flash if you want. She nodded frantically, seeming to follow along with everything I was saying, before I let her go and she actually tried to attack me!” Rosalind scoffs out at the end, earning an aggravated groan from Del.
“I couldn’t help myself after that, Alex! I sparked her once on the jaw and sent her flying across the pavement! She decided to run off after that realising that she didn’t have a chance.” Rosalind laughs loudly at the events, as I make eye contact with Anna.
Rosalind punched her… maybe now she will know what she’s dealing with… maybe now she will quit it!
Grateful that Rosalind had managed to confront Clara, warning her to stay away from Del and to leave
us all alone, we now had some peace of mind.
“She won’t be bothering you again anytime soon,” Rosalind says confidently over the phone. “I made
sure she knows that we’re not to be messed with.”
Relief washes over us, and Del lets out a heavy sigh. “Thank you, Rosalind. This favour is appreciated!”
Del tells her.
“It was my pleasure. You’re part of the gym family Del, and we look out for each other,” Rosalind replies warmly, as he chuckles at her warm response.
Alex thanks her as well before ending the call.
We all feel a sense of gratitude for Rosalind’s help and the fact that she took care of the situation for us… at least for now we hope!
As the night goes on, we manage to enjoy the rest of the evening, even amidst the lingering tension. The movie helps distract us, and we find comfort in each other’s company.
Despite the challenges we face, we know that we have a strong support system that won’t let us down. Together, we’ll face whatever comes our way, and with people like Rosalind on our side, we have hope that Clara’s harassment will finally come to an end.
However, I still think we should at least get her charged for abuse and harassment. A restraining order could really make the world of a difference to Del now…
As the night draws to a close, we decide to get some rest by crashing over at Dels place. It was the least we could do after the shit week he had endured…
The events that Del had faced, distracted me from my own hardships, as I poured all of my energy into comforting my friend.
What could seriously happen next at this point?
