Chapter 565 Crack
Chapter 565 Crack
Frank did not respond immediately, but asked in a low voice, "Do you really want to help me?"
She nodded her head and confirmed again.
Frank then said calmly, "I need a sum of money to start a new company, and then you and I will deal with the Martin Group openly and covertly. I believe that with my ability, this company will not be any worse. After dealing with Benjamin, I will have achieved certain results. With these, I will show my sincerity to marry you to the Parker family. What do you think?"
Michelle's cheeks suddenly flushed, and she said shyly, "Frank, don't say that. I'm just asking you how to deal with Benjamin. Why did you mention this matter?"
"Don't you want to be with me?"
"I do, of course, I do." Michelle couldn't wait to respond. Looking at Frank, she became more and more like a shy little woman.
Looking into each other's eyes, Frank gently stroked her cheek, then he leaned over and kissed her forehead.
Frank said, "Michelle, I promise you that I will marry you when everything is settled."
No woman could escape such a promise.
Michelle was completely captivated.
But what Frank thought about was never as simple as romantic love. It was just his way of hiding himself while seeking the chance to deal with Benjamin and complete his unfinished purpose.
But Michelle didn't realize this. She just dreamed about the day they got married happily.
Frank needed a sum of money to start a company, and Michelle needed to go back to Dattlech for a while to at least gain the trust of the Parker family's parents so that they would be willing to give her the money.
Michelle planned to spend a few days with Frank first, but Frank said, "We have lots of time in the future. It is the best way to take action while Benjamin and the police are not prepared, right?"
Although Michelle was a little unhappy, she was still willing to do it for their future. So she immediately agreed to go back to Dattlech early tomorrow morning.
After successfully dealing with Michelle, Frank didn't stay for too long. He sat with her for a while and then left.
The reason was that he couldn't stay too long for fear that someone would be watching her.
Michelle had to let him go.
Because of Frank's words, Michelle's dreams that night were all sweet.
Michelle took the flight back to Dattlech the next morning. Before boarding the plane, Frank called her and specifically told her not to be too impatient and to proceedstep by step.
At the villa in the same city, Harper also met Annie after breakfast in the morning. The bodyguard let her go without any obstruction.
When she saw Annie coming over, Harper just thought she was coming to see her. So she pulled her to the sofa to sit down and asked, "Why did you come here? Did you go to Larry for help again? There is no need to come here specially in the future, and you won't owe Larry more favors."
"Benjamin asked me to come." Annie responded lightly, feeling a bit flustered hearing someone's name. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
Harper was stunned for a moment. "Why did he send you?"
"Didn't he tell you?"Annie didn't know what happened between them, so she just told the truth. "He asked me to come and take you back to the apartment. If you have anything to pack ask Angie to pack it for you, and then we can go back to the apartment."
Harper didn't react at all, she just sat there motionless and stared to the front blankly.
Annie raised her hand and touched her gently, "Are you leaving? Or have you gotten used to living here and don't want to leave?"
Harper smiled and said, "Let's go. I want to go see my grandma first."
She was stunned was simply because she didn't quite believe it.
Because Curtis had just come the night before and did not mention that Benjamin was going to let her leave. She was a little surprised that it happened so suddenly. Harper didn't have anything here. She simply took away the clothes she had worn recently.
Only after getting in the car did she truly feel that she had regained her freedom.
She sat in the passenger seat, looking out the window, and said with emotion, "Freedom is great."
