You don’t order me around
..
Beatrice gave a nod and locked her arms together, placing them on her chest and turning around to look at the secretary till she disappears out of her sight.
She hightailed inside the office and went to sit down on the swivel chair.
She peeked at the files on the table and let’s out a tired sigh.
“Monthly estimation and.. ugh, how I hate anything that involves calculation.”she made to stand up but the door opened instantaneously and Gregory came in.
He threw a quizzical look at her.
“What are you doing right now, miss?”
She stood up and shook her head.
“Nothing. When are we going back home?”
“When I’m done with all I have to do.”he responded and streaked to his chair then sat down.
She directed a crumpled look at him.
“Why?. You always do that at h..”
“Well, things have changed now so I.. don’t really think I would be spending more time in – door now.”
“I will leave then.”she rolled her eyes and moved to the door.
“Tell the secretary to come in on your way out.”
“I am not your worker so you don’t get to order me around.”
He dropped the files he was going through and looked up at her then chuckle.
“I pay you though.”
“Hmph! Whatever! Besides, I don’t think she would be at her desk.”
“Don’t just assume. Just do what is asked of you.”
“I think I sent her to go get me two cups of coffee. Too bad I won’t get to taste that, but enjoy, Mr Gregory. Take that as treat from me.”she grinned.
“You can’t just order my workers around, Beatrice. You can easily go get the coffee for yourself if you were craving for one. Who would be the one to handle her work now though?”
“She would be here in ten minutes time.”
“And, how do you know that?”he scowled.
“So she said. I can’t believe you didn’t notice her absence when you were coming in. I guess your head was held just too high like that of a giraffe that you barely see what is going on beneath. shhh”she tuts.
“Take these files and make me duplicate ones.”he stretched out a heap of files to her.
“I don’t know how to do that.”she frowns.
“Then you shouldn’t have sent her to get you a coffee. Fuck that!”
She breathed in and pulled her hair then shut her eyes.
“Good bye.”she opened the door and left.
He opened his mouth to say something but he closed it back.
They are at the company, at the peering and preying gazes of the people.
He should be careful of what he says and does.

Henry hits the tablet in his hand on the wall in rage.
“When did Frank turned into an incompetent scum!”he breathed out, infuriated.
“We gave him raw information and he presented it to him in that form! He literally ruined everything! He was just too greedy about recognition that he didn’t find a proper way to corner him.”
“It’s all my fault, sir. I should have known–”
“Ugh.. none of this is your fault, Oscar!”he interrupted, pointing his staff at him.
“How am i going to face Lopez now?. I already gave him my word! Darn Gregory and that girl!”he collapsed into his chair.
“I will rather eat the cow’s dump than let him see me as disloyal friend. I care about my reputation just too much. No, I would not be disgraced. Get a reporter to tail after them from now on, especially that girl! I must find a way to deal with her either legally or illegally.”

A knock sounded on the door and Gregory looked up.
He spotted Laura from the glassy window and he gave her an approval nod.
She came inside with a caddy where two coffees were placed.
She scoured her eyes around, looking for Beatrice.
“Yes?”Gregory peered his impatient eyes at her.
“I.. I.. miss.. your wife told me to get her coffee but now, I.. can’t seem to find her.”she stuttered.
She’d always been nervous around him and that’s understandable because of the cold aura that always surrounds him.Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.
“She went home. Have the drinks to yourself.”he focused back on his work.
“What?. That b..”she paused when she realized what she was just about to say.
“Leave.”Gregory said, not giving a care about the fact that she was just about to curse her.
Laura gulped down before moving out of the room.
..
“Come in.”Tisha invited the person who’d knocked inside her office.
Sandra came inside and Tisha chuckles.
“Reporter Sandra, how do you do?”
“I’m doing very well but a bit sad that I wasn’t able to..”..
“Oh, that?. It’s fine. Besides, I already had a knack that we probably won’t win since all we had was just a rough guess but at least, we did manage to set him off a little. Come take a seat, please.”
“You’re the only reporter that I seem to share some closeness with and that’s why I’m willing to entrust an important project to you.”Tisha informed her as soon as she sat down.
“What’s that?”
“Your identity is probably leaked now so I will need another reporter or.. someone you can trust to do this.
Gregory would probably move to his mansion in the city now that he’s been attacked of been a ghost. I want you to get someone to work as a maid in his house and find out what his relationship is with that woman truly then report back to us.”
“That.. sounds risky. What if she get caught?”
“I trust you won’t provide an amateur also. Make sure she is a darling and watch as the drama unfolds. She has to be loved by that woman and that would do the trick.”
..
Olivia sat on the recliner chair under an umbrella by the poolside.
Some maids were washing her legs in a basin.
She scrolled down the news on her phone and scoffs.
Isn’t this the girl from the party night?.
The one that tried to snatch Winifred away from her?.
“Ah! Be careful, you bitch!”she kicked a maid that mistakenly brush her finger on her skin into the pool angrily.
The water made a splashing sound.
Olivia huffs and stood up.
“Get the pool technician to clean the water.”she ordered and started walking away.
A maid came to put an umbrella over her head to shield her away from the sun.
Olivia got to her room and smirks.
“Well.. this should be fun.”
She went to make a post on her Instagram account and she threw her phone on the bed.
Her phone buzzes repeatedly with massive reactions coming in.
She doffed out of her clothes and wore her robe.
She walked inside the bathroom and removed her towel, going to stand under the shower.
She turned it on and bursts into hysterical laughter.
“Let’s the party begin.”
