Honeymoon
Henry drew a sip of his tea in and exhaled heavily.
“Boss, you’re really not going to go to the wedding?”Oscar enquired.
“Hm.”Henry hummed and brought the cup down from his mouth.
“I already decide not to disrupt their wedding, that’s an enough gift.”he uttered.
“But.. he is your son?”
“A bastard, Oscar. It’s only a bastard that wouldn’t listen to his father.”he frowned.
Oscar nodded reluctantly.
“When they are done with their merries, let’s find another way to separate them. He must marry Jennifer no matter what.”
Oscar stared at him and blinked.
He is going to watch them have a grande wedding and separate them later on?
“Uh?”Henry prinked up at him.
“Yes, boss.”
Henry nodded.
“Good. Don’t have any silly thoughts, Oscar. I am only trying to be the best dad in the world. Him marrying a nameless woman wouldn’t help him. A man needs power in order to be a man.”he exhaled, heavily.
“They lo..”
“I told you not to think silly! What does love has to offer?. It’s just a stupid feelings!”
“You guys will never understand.”he added and drank his tea again.

Gregory was already standing by the altar when she got there.
If her father was still alive, he would have been the one to take her hand up the aisle before leaving her with him.
He offered a smile that was probably to make the guests feel they like each other when all that was contained in his eyes were voidness.
They took all the vows, did all other wedding rituals and they called it a day.
As the newly wed got inside the white car that was decorated with white and blue ribbons, friends and families and the media took pictures of them.
Beatrice only had her mom as only her family there though.
They got home and Beatrice was stunned by the incredible refurbished sight of the mansion.
As they took the stairs up and got to the corridor, Beatrice turned to the direction of her room but he pulled her back by her hand.
“What are you doing?”she huffed, attempting to wriggle her hand out of his grip.
“We just got married,”he smirks.
“Shouldn’t we sleep together?”he raised a brow at her.
Beatrice took a sharp breath in before frowning at him.
“This is fake, after all. There is no clause in the contract that stated that we could sleep together.”she lashed out.
“Your mind is dirty.”he chuckled before pushing her inside his room.
“We are not doing anything. What do you think the maids would think with us sleeping apart on our wedding night?”he tried to lock the door.
“No.”she stopped him.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“What?. I’m afraid you might escape.”he scoffed.
“This is an act anyway. I would sleep on the bed then you sleep on the couch.”she suggested.
Gregory’s eyes flickered in amazement.
“In my room?”
“Shall I go to mine then?”she hmph’ed.
“Go then you would handle the consequences.”he loosened the tie around his neck.
Beatrice snorted.
That night, they both slept on the other sides of the bed.
..
“Good morning, a couple of couples that are currently toppling the most searched couple on Google and most talked about husband and wife!”Melinda was their alarm the next morning.
Her voice blared in their ears, making them toss and whine.
Melinda eyes widened when she observed their sleeping positions.
“You guys are couples, you should be holding each other close when sleeping!”she almost yell.
Beatrice’s and Gregory’s eyes snapped open.
Melinda glared at both of them.
“Did you guys even did anything last night?!”she inquired.
“Ugh, ma’am..”Beatrice yawned, still feeling sleepy.
Her body was aching because of the wedding stress and only rest could solve that.
“I asked a question.”Melinda fumed at Gregory.
“You cannot barge in here anymore, Melinda. What if we were are having an early morning make out to complement last night’s own?”he huffed.
The sleep that was tugging at Beatrice’s eyes disappeared.
What the heck?!
Melinda grinned.
“Ow, my boy is more romantic now. Anyways, I brought you guys coffee. Don’t worry, Beatrice, I didn’t add too much of milk.”she winked at her before scramming out of the bedroom.
They stared at the wooden slab on the table.
Two cups of coffee was placed on it.
A love shape made with milk floats on one while one made with sugar and a little milk floats on the other.
Beatrice extended her hand and picked her’s up.
She chugged it down her throat and breathed out as its warmth hits her throat.
She returned the cup and got out of the bed.
That was the second time she would be waking up in his room.
“I am leaving..”she yawned.
“Hm. Get ready, we are going for our honeymoon later.”Gregory responded.
Beatrice eyes popped out.
“Eiii?!”
“You heard me. Make use of the door, please.”
She jeered at him.
He is still annoying as before.
Thought she heard that getting married would make one to be more calmer?
Or was it just a legend?.
Phew!
The marriage is a sham so he would probably have nothing to learn from it.
She went to her room to sleep some more.
A call from Alyssa interrupted her sleep.
She answered the call with drowsy eyes.
“Hmm??”
“Oh my God! Your voice has changed overnight! I know that’s as the result of the love kisses you and Gregory exchanged.”Alyssa uttered, enthusiastically.
“Oh, please.”Beatrice chuckled and placed a palm on the bed.
“So what’s your plan?”Alyssa chirped.
“Plans?”Beatrice rubbed her eyes.
“Oh, well, yeah… plans. Don’t tell me you guys have not got any?”Alyssa scoffed.
“Oh, yea. Our honeymoon starts today.”
“Awwww… I like that! Want me to tag along?”she teased.
“Well, sure.”Beatrice shrugged.
“Don’t tell me you guys are still not confessing your feelings yet?”Alyssa snorts.
How could she want to allow her to tag along?
“Well… duhhh, wait, you –”
“Yes, I do know it’s a contract marriage.”Alyssa rolled her eyes at the other side.
..
Amelia scrolled down the internet and huffed.
Their wedding pictures are trending everywhere.
She also went to his wedding with Brown too.
Gregory was her brother, after all, and not showing up would turn her into a sulker!
Especially since she has announced her support to him.
Well, she should start executing her plans now.
