Chapter 1456
"Fiona, Aunt Julie's been caught up in a whirlwind with some reality show lately, so she might not have much time to spend with you," Cecelia said with a chuckle. "Oh, and speaking of the show, there's this super handsome guy who's just joined us. He's a new star and all the rage. Even I felt a little flutter seeing him! Want me to snag his autograph for you? You could totally flaunt it to your friends."
Henrik couldn't take it anymore, his expression turning stern as he uttered her name slowly: "Fi-o-na Rey- nolds."
Cecelia suddenly realized Henrik was still in the room. "Oh, just kidding, sweetheart! You've got to take good care of Fiona, make sure she doesn't feel left out. Oh, someone's at the door, gotta run!"
And with that, Cecelia quickly ended the call.
Henrik stared at his phone, caught between frustration and resignation. That woman...
"Uncle, how about I book you a flight for early tomorrow?" Fiona suggested, already scrolling through her phone for flights. Henrik felt a bit downcast, with his wife barely acknowledging him and his niece seemingly eager for him to leave. "Ungrateful kid, can't wait to see me go, can you?"
"I'm doing this for your and Aunt Julie's relationship, making the noble sacrifice of letting you go!" Fiona declared, feigning seriousness.noveldrama
Henrik could only shake his head, dropping Fiona off at her apartment and handing her a card. "There's fifty million on this card. Use it as you need, and I'll keep it topped up. If you ever run short, just let me know."
"Thank you, Uncle!" Fiona said, accepting the card and giving Henrik a huge hug.
No need to thank me. After all, it was Connor's card.
The fifty million belonged to Connor. Of course, Henrik kept that bit to himself, enjoying the warmth of his niece's hug as he gently patted her back.
Henrik's visit was as hurried as his departure. After making sure Fiona had breakfast, he headed to the airport.
Fiona had her day planned too. She needed to take Tyler to school to sort out his enrollment. She'd already informed Mr. Smith, so Tyler could go directly to his office. Fiona would attend her own classes first and catch up with him later.
In Mr. Smith's office, Mr. Smith looked over Tyler and the personal information form, feeling a bit
overwhelmed. "So, you dropped out after middle school?"
"Yeah," Tyler nodded. "Family stuff came up, so I left in eighth grade. But I've kept up with my studies on my own. You can test me."
Mr. Smith felt his headache
intensify. They'd just squeezed Fiona in, and though her grades weren't stellar, a least she had formal schooling. But Tyler, dropping out in eighth grade and aiming for

eleventh? That's quite a jump.
Yet, the person who'd pushed for Tyler's admission wielded considerable clout, leaving Mr. Smith no choice but to comply. "Alright, get it," Mr. Smith said,
adjusting his glasses. "You'll
be in
Class 3. It's not our top class, but it's pretty solid. The person who got you in wanted a good learning environment for you."
Just then, a knock came at the door. Mr. Smith glanced up, waving the person in. "Ms. Johnson, come on
in. We were just discussing you. This is Tyler, and I'm thinking of placing him in your class."
Ms. Johnson, or Megan, was the homeroom teacher for Class 3, a woman in her forties. She walked in confidently, giving Tyler a once-over with a skeptical look.
What do you think?
