Chapter 24
Chapter 24
Bowen had lost an out–of–print classic car.
But it was more than just a classic car.
Karry had sobered up the next day and realized when he had returned home. Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
He didn’t have Jolene’s phone number, so he called the hotel front desk to confirm if Jolene had risen at night.
After receiving the confirmed news, he happily came to Earth Group to ask Bowen for a classic car. Bowen went to the morning meeting, and Karry walked around the secretary’s room in front of the president’s office.
He was Toyar Company’s chief executive officer, and he had an excellent personal relationship with Bowen, and the secretaries were all familiar with him.
Karry looked around the office but didn’t see Jolene, so he asked Flora about it.
“Where is Special Assistant Marsh? Did she go to a meeting with Bowen?”
“I saw her just now, and it seemed she had gone to the admin department to go through the resignation
procedures.”
Flora had come in the morning and heard that Jolene had resigned and had been shocked.

Karry’s eyebrows thumped, and suddenly he saw Bowen coming from the corridor, so he went up to meet him.
Before he could speak, Bowen said, “Let’s talk in the office.”
After entering the office, a car key was thrown into his arms before Karry Hon sat down on the sofa.
He picked it up and looked at it carefully, “Bowen, are your willing?”
“It just so happens that you are here, and I will re–sign the contract we discussed yesterday.”
A document slid across the desktop again and was held down by Karry.
Karry sighed and said, “I hated your businesslike face the most.”
He opened the contract, took out the pen from his pocket, bit the cap with his teeth, pulled it out, and said casually while signing, “Just for this contract, you put Jolene fired?”
Before waiting for Bowen’s answer, he signed the contract. and pushed it back.
“I’ve signed the contract and accepted the car keys. I want to ask you for someone.”
After speaking, Karry paid attention to Bowen’s expression. and found that he was still expressionless, so he said confidently: you fired Jolene. How about giving her to me?”
Bowen finally raised his eyes to look at him. Just then, Jolene knocked on the door and came in.
She had just finished her resignation report and came in to say goodbye to Bowen. Their four–year master–servant relationship was over.
She didn’t expect Karry to be here. She was taken aback and nodded to him.
She had come here to go through the resignation procedures that day, so she hadn’t worn formal clothes. She casually wore a blue shirt with a lotus leaf collar and jeans and a pair of white canvas shoes on her feet. She looked as fresh as a cloud in the sky.
Karry couldn’t help but whistle, “It just so happens that the special assistant is here, Bowen. I want someone from you. Will you give her to me?”
Jolene didn’t expect that they were talking about this topic before she came, and awkwardly stood at the door, neither coming in nor going out.
Bowen’s mood and tone remained unchanged, “She is here. Why are you asking me?”
“Special Assistant Marsh.” Karry looked at Jolene, “Your former boss doesn’t want you anymore. How about you sign with me?”
Seeing that Jolene didn’t speak, he added, “Toyar Company’s position is up to you to choose, except for my position, but if you want to be the proprietress, we can also talk about it…”
Jolene lowered her eyebrows, her eyes sweeping to the Bowen opposite.
He was engrossed in his business on the computer as if they were separated from him in another world.
Jolene laughed and said mockingly, “Boss. Hon is joking. How can I deserve it?”
“Don’t underestimate yourself! You just need to say a word. Come with me or go to Toyar Company. It’s up to you. I will not mistreat you.” Karry got up from the sofa and walked towards Jolene.
“Boss Hon, stop joking.” Jolene smiled, “I’m just here to say goodbye to Mr. Evert. I’m going to leave first after completing the formalities.”
“Hey, Bowen.” Seeing that Jolene was about to leave, Karry became anxious, so he turned around and said to Bowen, “Say something!”
