Contract Marriage: My Sweet Bossy Wife

Chapter 152 Enough

Chapter 152 Enough

“Let go of her!” Lorenzo turned around to stare at him coldly.

“You should let go! You can’t even control yourself! You are risking her life before you learn to hold back

your anger!” Wilfred insisted.

Though they had been hostile against each other, Wilfred knew about him—he still clearly remembered

how horrible it was when Lorenzo ran out of control.

Meanwhile, as a doctor, Wilfred was aware that Lorenzo was at the edge of breakdown.

At the same time, Lorenzo was strengthening his grip on her wrist, showing no intention to let go.

“Ahhh…it hurts!” Jessica couldn’t help exclaiming out of pain.

“Lorenzo, enough! You are hurting her!” Wilfred was shouting at him with a serious look.

“You gotta know that it was all because of you! It’s you who make her suffer!” while speaking, Lorenzo

turned to look at Jessica. When seeing her pale face, he felt like being strangled.

“Lorenzo, you’re a maniac! You will kill her! I know you have abused her violently when you go crazy!

You once strangled her in front of me! Listen up, you are a psycho!”

Wilfred kept on accusing him straightforwardly.

Something different seemed to be brewing within Lorenzo’s eyes. He suddenly strengthened to pull her

over into his arms.

Afraid that Jessica would get hurt again, Wilfred had to let go of his grip.

Meanwhile, Jessica bumped onto Lorenzo’s chest because of that. As she hadn’t recovered from the

poison, a stronger sense of dizziness struck her head again.

“Even if I am mentally disordered, there is no denying that Jessica had been my wife officially! She

could only try to bear all kinds of emotion of mine, both negative and positive! And you have no right to

interfere whatever happens between us!” Lorenzo glared at Wilfred.

Wilfred stayed still until Lorenzo dragged her out of the pharmacy. Standing still, he clenched his fists

hard with a storm brewing on his face.

Meanwhile, Leila had been watching stealthily. The two excellent gentlemen were actually fighting over

Jessica. So incredible!

All she hoped was that Lorenzo would beat Jessica badly and then smashed the divorce agreement on

her face.

However, the fact appeared quite different from her expectation.

But still, she felt satisfied when seeing Lorenzo’s reaction. No man would simply sit by when knowing

that his wife was cheating on him. Not to mentioned that Lorenzo had been a man of great power.

He found it hard to breath. Though he seemed to control himself just now, he would definitely retaliate

against Jessica when they returned home, Leila supposed so.

All she wanted was to see Jessica suffering.

Undoubtedly, the gap between Lorenzo and Jessica was now gaping.

Besides, Leila captured a secret from their conversation—Wilfred had mentioned about the disorder of

Lorenzo.

She couldn’t help wondering about it.

Lorenzo appeared energetic and strong from the outside. He didn’t look like being bothered by

disorder.

But obviously, it was still a chance worth seizing. Since Wilfred had mentioned about it, it should be

true. With the help of that secret, she believed she could require whatever she wanted from Lorenzo.

Amazing!

After all, the gossip about a well-known privileged family was worth going viral among the public. If

what happened tonight was known to all, it was gonna be interesting, Leila reckoned.

At the thought of that, she couldn’t help getting thrilled.

Sitting in the roadster, both Lorenzo and Jessica remained silent.

The air seemed to be frozen. Lorenzo pressed the button to fold the roof so as to breathe some fresh

air. Soon, the wind stuffed his shirt.

“Lorenzo, I know you are mad! But you gotta listen to me.” From her perspective, the problem needed

to be solved ASAP whenever there was an argument.

“Okay, I will listen to you…But you need to explain why you stayed out at night. And why were you

resting into Wilfred’s arms? I am gonna punish you if you fail to convince me with a reasonable

explanation!” Wilfred simply replied.

The reason why she stayed out was simple—she risked her own life by taking the poison extracted

from ink lotus. She almost got killed because of that. Luckily, she saved herself and meanwhile, Wilfred

returned to bail her out.

Though it sounded simple, she found it hard to confess.

“Perhaps it was because I didn’t sleep well last night. And I was feeling sick today. When I was about to

faint, Wilfred managed to catch me into his arms before my head hit the ground…that’s it.” Actually, she

was just telling part of the truth.

As sensitive as Lorenzo had always been, he soon noticed that she wasn’t telling the truth.

At the thought of that, he felt more upset.

She was still lying!

“Are you try to fool me? I am not a kid. You’d better figure out a more convincing excuse next time.”

“Lorenzo, I was indeed feeling sick. Why don’t you trust me? Wilfred is your brother! How could it be

possible that I was having an affair with your brother?” while speaking softly, Jessica touched his arm

with both hands.

Distraught, Lorenzo slapped away her hands and suddenly speeded up.

Still bothered by side effect of the poison, she started sweating all over while being disturbed by

nausea as soon as Lorenzo suddenly speeded up.

Meanwhile, he took a glance at her. When noticing her sickness, he slowed down the speed.

At the thought that he lost control again, he was getting more and more upset.

He didn’t drive home. Instead, he parked the car in the parking lot of the Fletcher Group.

He led Jessica into the elevator to get into the office. He closed the gate with remote and pushed her

into the restroom inside his office.

“Lorenzo, you gotta calm down. I am not in the mood to argue with you. Let’s settle it peacefully, okay?

I understand that you are being annoyed. But please, think about yourself. You need to take the pills.

Then we talk.” Jessica suggested softly, trying to solace his tension.

As she was familiar with this office, she wasn’t worried about it.

She took out some pills to hand them over to Lorenzo.

“No! I am fine!” he closed the medicine box and threw it onto the bed.

“Lorenzo, please calm down. You gotta take those pills. Trust me, I am working on it. I will have you

cured as soon as I figure out the new formula.” Jessica hurried to put away the box.

Lorenzo took off his suit. He threw it away and suddenly lifted her up. He then placed her on the couch.

Before Jessica could notice what happened, he bent over to rip her clothes.

“Lorenzo, what are you doing?” Jessica couldn’t help exclaiming.

“You lost the chance! You still wanna keep the truth from me, huh? I would like to see how far you have

gone with Wilfred!” his face was covered with displeasure while he was glaring at her.

“No! Lorenzo, how could you say that? You are killing our marriage!” with her eyes wide open, she

stared at him with great disbelief while pushing against him.

“You’re right. I am a maniac! I will hurt you and I don’t deserve your trust. You must be enough with it,

right? Now that Wilfred has showed up in your life, I would like to spare you a chance to run away from

me. Forget about the marriage if you are suffering! Let’s divorce! Then you can stay with

him!”
