Constructing-Style Wizard

Chapter 822: 260. Start the tough attack_2

Unless someone leaks the information, in the eyes of the Pangula Family, Noland Lee will always appear merely as a brute of a First Ring Enforcement Wizard, never linked to the plan that initiated the golden period of the Suman Archipelago.

Not only that, but all the wizard forces and Wizard Families of the Suman Archipelago will not know that all this is led by Noland Lee.

Selena will enjoy the glory and reputation on his behalf, as well as the attention and pressure that come with it.

As the man behind the scenes, all Noland wants is gold coins.

Gradually digesting the situation, Lonco Pomida understood Noland’s plan, as well as the role Noland played in it.

He posed a question that anyone unaware of Noland’s possession of Deconstruction Technique would ask:

“Why do you think your ore distribution map is irreplaceable? Given enough time, couldn’t the Pangula Family also explore the non-metallic ores?”

Noland shook his head slightly:

“You said it yourself, this is predicated on the Pangula Family having enough time. Don’t underestimate my ability to explore ore veins. In at most half a year, I can finish surveying the non-metallic ore conditions here in the Suman Archipelago. Do you think the Pangula Family has that strength?”

“Half a year? To survey nearly 130,000 Islands?! How is that possible?” Lonco Pomida looked incredulous, clearly finding Noland’s statement hard to believe.

Noland raised his hand, stopping Lonco Pomida’s questions:

“Don’t doubt the truth of what I said just yet; I’ll prove it through my actions.”

Noland paused and continued:noveldrama

“Furthermore, I need to make one thing clear. The reason I offered this plan to the Deep Sea Branch is entirely out of consideration for Selena. I find her trustworthy and conducive to cooperation, which is why I chose the Deep Sea Branch as the partner.

“Within ten days, I will bring you four Nonmetal Mineral Distribution Maps of the Islands. You have ten days to mine non-metallic ores on the islands according to the intelligence I provide.

“If the mining results match the information I provided, I want the Deep Sea Branch to make a decision as quickly as possible. The sooner, the better—don’t make me wait too long.”

“I agree with Jarvis’s opinion, brother,” Selena said:

“Talk to dad about the plan. I don’t think he’d refuse.”

Lonco Pomida glanced at his sister, who was elbowing outward, stroked his chin, frowned in thought, and said:

“Alright. I’ll relay the contents of this secret discussion to father. Jarvis, since you said you’d provide the Nonmetal Mineral Distribution Map of Four Islands within ten days, I’ll wait for your message.”

Noland Lee’s lips curled into a smile, shooting a glance at Selena:

“Let’s get the Cooperation Memorandum signed first. I’ll trouble you, Selena, to write it down.”

—The so-called “memo” doesn’t refer to a “document to prevent forgetting.”

—It’s a document where both parties involved preliminarily agree upon the matters, methods, conditions, and confidentiality of the cooperation before officially signing a long-term Magic Contract.

Handling official business has always been Selena’s forte.

Upon receiving Noland’s directive, she briskly walked to the desk, controlling the Magic Pen and documents to draft the memo.

Noland turned his head and looked at Denise Green, who was sitting beside him.

Denise was still immersed in the grandiose scheme described by Noland.

She was staring blankly at the chess piece on the Magic Model, trying hard to comprehend how Noland had managed to clarify these convoluted interpersonal relationships and various demands.

Noland nudged the dazed Denise with his elbow and said through Soul Perception:

“Selena is drafting the document now, don’t you want to take a look?”

“Oh, right, yes.” Denise perked up, coming to her senses, giving Noland a shy smile, picked up her skirt, and stood up to watch Selena.

Seeing her approach, Selena smiled warmly at her, continuing with her tasks.

Lonco Pomida, witnessing the harmonious interaction between Selena and Denise, couldn’t help but be astounded and shot Noland several meaningful glances.

As a man, he was very clear about what this scene implied.

Lonco Pomida rubbed his forehead, deeply resigned to the future of his sister…

At the same time, he felt troubled about how to explain to his father what had happened in the past few days.

More than half an hour later, the Cooperation Memorandum was signed, and Noland and the Deep Sea Branch successfully established a basic trust relationship.

Next, it was up to Noland.

If he managed to deliver the ore distribution maps on schedule, all would be well.

If not, the entire plan would be nipped in the bud right at the outset.

In his heart, Noland already had a contingency plan for surveying the island ore resources, and he was not panicking at all.

After leaving Selena’s Study Room, Noland and company boarded the Core Circle’s Public Vehicle.

Denise, clinging to Noland’s arm, asked:

“Next, are you going to survey the ore resources on the islands? Do you need my help?”

Noland winked at her:

“Of course, I need your help. However, we’re not going to the islands now. Our destination is the Deep Sea Zone, far from the Suman Archipelago.”

“Huh? What are we doing At Sea?” Denise was puzzled.

Noland grinned and said:

“You’ll find out soon enough.”

“Okay, then I won’t ask,” Denise poked Noland’s waist:

“All secretive…”

Noland grabbed her little hand and gave it a gentle rub, asking:

“How did you feel about today’s audit? Did you gain any insights?”
