Selena looked down at the sea surface, standing obediently like a little sister who had made a mistake.

“Even if you’ve helped us break the siege, I still won’t let you take Selena away. I have two little sisters, and Selena is my favorite and the most obedient. Without her, who would manage the wizard forces here in the Suman Archipelago?”

The corners of Noland Lee’s mouth turned up, making him look like a shrewd old fox:

“I’ve always felt that deep sea magic is missing something. How can the ferocious sea surface lack the wild thunder and lightning?”

With a snap of his fingers, Noland Lee summoned thunder and lightning.

A chilling bolt of lightning tore through the night sky.

Descending from the heavens with a crack, it struck the sea surface behind Noland Lee, splashing water high into the air while electric snakes swam below, momentarily lighting up a small patch of sea water.

Lonco Pomida looked up at the dark cloud in the night sky.

He had already detected something unique about that cloud.

The immense thunder and lightning energy within it could still be sensed by him, despite being thousands of kilometers away.

Noland Lee introduced with a smile:

“This is my unique thunder and lightning spell. I cannot pass on the Magic Array Blueprint to you, but I can accept your employment to use this spell against the enemies you specify.”

Lonco Pomida looked at Noland Lee again and said expressionlessly:

“Perhaps you didn’t hear me clearly, Selena is my favorite sister, and I won’t let you take her away.”

Noland Lee coughed lightly:

“Hmm, I understand. Having the means to defeat the enemy both on and under water, but not knowing where the enemy is, is indeed troubling. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly:

Lonco Pomida glared at the smirking Noland Lee:

“But let me make this clear, everything you’ve mentioned just now, including the spells, must be written into the contract with Selena. If Selena gets bullied in your sub-dimensional plane, I will make sure you pay for it.”

But when he looked at Selena, his expression was one of helplessness:

After the two had left, the moonlight shifted, and a gentle sea breeze blew, leaving Lonco Pomida floating alone in the air.

Gradually, his expression grew dimmer.

After a silent pause, he pulled out a bottle of liquor.

He uncorked it and poured the sweet wine onto the sea surface, where Lonco, unawares, was streaming with tears.

“Farewell, Sidney… this was our favorite drink. You just enjoy it, I still have more…”
