Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1356

A surge of intense emotion welled up in Justin's chest. He pulled Rosalie into his arms and held her tightly.

Rosalie wrapped her trembling hands around his waist.

"Rose, do you know what you're saying?" Justin's tone was heavy, almost accusatory. He needed to hear her say it with certainty, not just in a moment of impulse.

"Justin, I love you. Don't go, okay? I don't want you to leave."

Some words were difficult to say, but once spoken, they could no longer be contained.

She didn't know exactly when she had fallen in love with Justin. Maybe it was from the first time they met when he shielded her in his arms, or when she learned about his tragic past and felt sympathy for him. Or perhaps it was the accumulation of moments over time-his gentleness, his kindness, the way he cared for and protected her.

In this seemingly cold and ruthless man, she saw goodness, and she couldn't help but fall for him.

Now, she was sure. She wanted to be with him. The thought of never seeing him again drove her nearly mad. That was why she had run to find him, throwing caution to the wind. She had truly believed she would never see him again.

Justin gently loosened his hold and cupped her face in his hands. "If you say this, then I will never let go. Are you sure you won't regret it?"

He had always put her first. He didn't want to disrupt her life, nor did he want to drag her into his dangerous world. That was why he had chosen to leave. As long as she didn't break that unspoken boundary between them, he could continue deceiving himself.

But now, there was no way he could convince himself otherwise. She had confessed her love, and there was no way he could reject it.

It wasn't just that he couldn't refuse Rosalie's love it was that he couldn't suppress his love for her.

"Then don't let go. Promise me you'll never let go, okay?" Rosalie was already sobbing, but this time, they were tears of joy and happiness. "Rose, as long as I still draw breath, I'll never let go. I'll always take care of you and protect you, and never regret it."

He closed his eyes and kissed her passionately. Finally, he was kissing the woman he loved.

Rosalie embraced him in return, responding with equal passion.

Above them, planes continued to fly past, their noisy engines filling the sky, but nothing could break the moment between them.

It wasn't until Rosalie's lips grew numb and her breathing became short that she gently pushed him away.

Justin immediately let go. Rosalie's lips were already swollen and red from his kisses. She lowered her head in embarrassment. "How much time do you have left on your visa?"

After all, Justin wasn't a citizen of Blencalgo. This was a reality they had to face. Ignoring it wouldn't make it disappear but make things worse.

"Don't worry. I can apply for a visa extension, but this will be the last time I can extend it. If my application is approved, I'll have four more months, but after that, I'll have to leave."

Rosalie bit her lip and gently took his hand. "What if...you were the husband of a Blencalgo citizen?"

A look of shock flashed across Justin's face. "Rose, are you saying...?"

"I don't want you to leave, and I don't want you to go back to Melrine. It's too dangerous there. You have too many enemies. Stay here, okay? can't promise that Blencalgo is absolutely safe, but at least your enemies aren't here. You wouldn't have to be on guard all the time."

Rosalie spoke with her head lowered, her face already flushed red.

"Are you saying you want to marry me just so I can obtain citizenship in Blencalgo?" Justin asked.
