He handed the thumb drive to Rosalie.

"All his actions were captured and stored in this thumb drive. Rosalie Young, I'm giving you one chance to watch the entire thing. If you still think Sebastian didn't want to kill me after watching it and want to beg me to let him go, I'll agree to it!"

Rosalie stared at the thumb drive in Theodore's hand, filled with doubt.

She was curious about the footage inside. Since there was evidence, there was no harm in checking it out.

Rosalie wiped her tears away. "Okay, I'll watch it. I want to know what happened, too."

It was Theodore's words against Sebastian's at that time. She didn't know whose words to believe.

Theodore grabbed Rosalie's wrist. "Come with me."

He brought Rosalie to somewhere quiet and had someone bring his laptop over.

He then inserted the thumb drive into the laptop and clicked open the video files inside.

Rosalie sat before the laptop and saw Theodore navigate through the files and click on a video.

However, he didn't play it.

Theodore simply paused there.

Rosalie asked, "What's the matter? Play it."

Rosalie wanted to grab the mouse, very eager to watch the contents of the video.

Theodore dodged her attempt and said, "I can let you watch it, but I want to ask you one thing first."

"What is it?" Rosalie asked.

Theodore paused for a moment before asking, "What kind of a person in Sebastian to you?"

Rosalie bowed her head. "You should know the answer to that very well, don't you?"

"But I want to hear it from you," Theodore said as he looked at her. "Tell me, what kind of a man is he in your eyes?

*Seb is a very gentle, thoughtful, and kind man. He kept me company and took care of me all this while, and is very accommodating to me. Although he has his weaknesses, he's still a perfect man in my eyes."

So if I were to send someone like him to jail, would you hate me and think that I'm deliberately framing him?" Rosalie nodded.

"Sebastian stayed by your side and helped you a lot. He is someone very important to you, isn't he?"

Rosalie nodded. "Yes, he's very important to me. And...he's also very important to my child."

Sebastian had been by her side from her pregnancy to delivery, never leaving her and always taking care of her and her baby. Aside from the fact that he wasn't the baby's father, everything he did for the baby was what a father would do, or even surpassing that.

If Sebastian hadn't given his signature on that agreement, her baby wouldn't have survived.

"It will destroy his image in your eyes. So, continue to hate me. I'm a terrible man in your eyes, anyway. It doesn't matter if you think worse of me. But things are different for Sebastian. It's enough that he's good to you."

Theodore was about to remove the thumb drive from the laptop when Rosalie grabbed his hand. "Wait, what do you mean by that? Are you not going to call the police on him anymore?"

Theodore nodded. "I won't. Let him stay by your side. At the very least, he has never hurt you. That's commendable."
