Chapter 25 Give Her to Me
All the movements were momentarily still.
The man was the first to react. He moved the knife away from Aleena's neck, but he still accidentally Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
cut her skin, and the blood immediately oozed out.
The man put the knife away and looked at the door.
Aleena, regardless of the pain, looked from behind the man.
But at one glance, she froze like a lightning strike.
Spencer?!
Why was he here?!
If only the knife had come down a little faster, Aleena thought.
She would rather die than see Spencer.
Spencer stood in the doorway against the light, with a cold expression. The sun pulled his shadow very
long. He was very tall and had superior temperament, so people would surrender to him in heart.
The man clenched the knife in his hand and asked, “Is she your wife?”
Spencer did not speak, but walked slowly toward them.
The man looked at the aggressive Spencer, subconsciously retreated two steps, but still firmly blocked
in front of Aleena.
“Give her to me,” said Spencer.
The man said, “I accept the money, so I can't accept your request.”
Spencer's eyes suddenly rested on Aleena.
She seemed a little heavier than before, which was more pleasing to his eyes.
But...
He failed to control his expression when he saw the bruises and bleeding on her bulging belly and her
fail skin.
Almost subconsciously, he darkened his face, at the same time, there was pressure from his body.
Good. Not long after she left him, she had a child with Travis.
At one point, Spencer even thought about grabbing the knife from the man's hand and killing the
woman himself.
Aleena felt his hot and complex eyes, and could not help shrinking to protect her belly.
She was really afraid.
All three of her children had died at his hands, possibly it was her last and only child.
If he wanted to take her back to torture her and abort the child, he might as well have stabbed her and
the child to death. It was good that she died with the child.
Spencer looked at her subconsciously protecting the child, his eyes became dark. He looked away at
the man and said, “I don't want to talk to you anymore. Give her to me. I can leave you alone.”
“Who are you? Do you think we have to do as you said?” The man didn't say anything, but the crowd
started shouting.
“You don't deserve to know my name. Get out of here before I do anything,” said Spencer.
The crowd laughed hearing that he was so arrogant, “OK, show us how formidable you are.”
The man gave the others a warning look, but they didn't budge.
Spencer did not talk nonsense and nodded his head.
It was not his fault that he was unkind, since these people brought it up themselves, for what he
needed to vent about Aleena.
Among those people stood out a person who was taller and stronger than Spencer. He said, “Well, I --”
Before he had finished speaking, he moved first.
But the next second, the triumph on his face suddenly disappeared.
No one saw clearly how Spencer moved, but in a few minutes, it was indeed Spence abusing him.
The man's face grew worse and worse.
He had seen that they could not defeat Spencer.
But Spencer wanted to take all his anger out on the fight.
With the last blow, the tall man flew a few meters away and lay on the ground, bruised or bloody, in a
terrible mess.
But Spencer was still clean and tidy, not even hair was messy.
The crowd looked at him in shock.
They did not have reaction even Spencer pulled Aleena up from the ground.
The man was the first to have reaction. As he was to stop him, Spencer gave him a name card,
“Perhaps you know how to do.”
The man looked as pale as paper at the name on the well-made card and lamented to take it without
saying another word.
He was Spencer Cook!
How could they offend him?
The man took the name card awkwardly, “I have professional ethics, I can't disclose......”
“I'll give you time to think about it.” Spencer said and pulled Aleena to go forward.
There was no tenderness at all.
But Aleena had been drugged before, she was so weak. Plus she was frightened, and her left became
lame.
Spencer felt the resistance and looked at her impatiently, “What? I saved you, but you don’t want to
go?”
“No, I...” Aleena did not want to talk to him, but her body was always more honest than her heart and
brain. “My legs are weak.”
“Tut, troublesome.” Spencer frowned, then suddenly turned to her and let go of her hand.
Aleena took a breath of relief. Spencer bent down and picked her up her horizontally.
