BILLIONAIRE’S SECRETARY

CHAPTER FORTY FOUR

“How in heaven’s name is he asking me this? When he initially asked me to follow him, Gosh, this man is sick in the head,” I said to myself.

“I am following you for the meeting… that is what secretaries do, and it was stated in the contract I signed… you even asked me to follow you,” I responded as I carried my handbag from the driver’s seat and closed the door of the car.

“You must be a joker… I asked you to drive me here… you dare not follow me with that scar on your neck to chase my business partner away, right? Just stay here in this car while I go to the meeting. Wait here and do not go elsewhere,” Mr. Gavriel said without emotion as he walked into the bar and left me standing transfixed there.

I had no other option but to do what he said, which was to enter the car and wait for him.

Immediately I entered the car, pulled away my jacket so I could take in the fresh air, and made the driver’s seat go down so I could lie down.

Mr. Gavriel enters the bar, and luckily, Mr. Jisaan Park had not arrived, but within some minutes, Mr. Jisaan Park arrived with his secretary.

Mr. Jisaan Park, an Asian of Asian descent, 29 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, the only son of Mr. Chen Park who is currently running his father’s company, Park AI Enterprise, had this aura, and his manner was very gracious and honorable. He had a broad chest, emerald eyes, spiky black hair, and a short, perfectly chiseled facial structure.

He was perfect for the Asian breed, as he was the true definition of an Adonis.

Mr. Gavriel and Mr. Jisaan had always behaved like brothers because Mr. Chen Park trained both of them as his sons, and they became very close until they became owners of their various companies, so they parted ways.

“Good day, Mr. Gavriel. It is so nice meeting you… it has been months since we met.” Mr. Jisaan greeted him as he brought forth his hand for a handshake, which, of course, Mr. Gavriel accepted, after which they took their seats.

“I am grateful,” Mr. Gavriel responded before he took his seat.

“We are so sorry for being late… the traffic jam was something else,” Mr. Jisaan’s secretary apologized on behalf of her boss.

“No, you do not have to be… after all, I just got here,” Mr. Gavriel said, smiling.

“I am Karina, Mr. Park Jisaan’s secretary… Please forgive my nonchalant behavior,” Karina apologized.

“That is not an issue… I just hope our meeting here will end successfully,” Mr. Gavriel said as he called a waiter and placed orders for wine and an Asia sandwich as he was paying respect to his saviour’s son.

After some minutes, the waiter arrived with the order that Mr. Gavriel had placed, and he arranged the dishes on the table.

“I hope you enjoy the dishes prepared by this eatery and bar, of course,” Mr. Gavriel said as he took a bottle of wine, popped it, and poured it for himself, Mr. Jisaan Park, and his secretary as they made a toast.

When they were through with their dishes, they discussed things related to the sudden fall of Seamus Group of Companies shares.

“I could not believe it. I traveled out of the country for a business trip, and my company’s stock just fell so much,” Mr. Gavriel explained to Mr. Jisaan.

“That is suspicious… I think there is a traitor in your company,” Mr. Jisaan says in his Asian accent.

“I also thought of that, but I have one person on my mind, and I need to investigate and also gather evidence,” Mr. Gavriel said.

“When I heard the news on the television, I had to call your father, Mr. Chen Park, for help, and that was how I escaped that load of disgrace,” Mr. Gavriel said as he took a sip of his wine.

“Yeah, my father informed me about it, and I am investigating it on my way… my father is also doing his part… nothing will go wrong… remember, you are like a son to him, and our companies are in partnership, so we must find out who is doing this,” Mr. Jisaan assured.

“Thank you so much, Jisaan. I will also investigate this, and when I get that person, he or she will pay with his or her life,” Mr. Gavriel finally said.

“Oh, I forgot this chair is empty. I heard you got a secretary… why is she not here with you?” Mr. Jisaan asked.

“She is mischievous, so I could not let her come with me… after all, she is paying for her wrongdoings,” Mr. Gavriel said as he smiled like he had won an award.

“Gavriel, do not tell me you made her sign a contract.” Mr. Jisaan asked.

“Of course, she tried to disgrace me in public, so currently she is my secretary, housekeeper, and submissive. Is that not nice?” Mr. Gavriel asked, waiting to hear a real answer from Mr. Jisaan.

“I am not in support of this Gavriel… she is a lady, and you cannot be doing that to her… she must be a strong woman to live under the same roof with you,” Mr. Jisaan advised, and Mr. Gavriel laughed.

They talked about the progress of their respective companies before they bid themselves farewell and went their separate ways.

“Hey, Anabelle,” Luca greeted as she walked into her office.

“I am good… what about you?” Anabelle asked curiously as a friend.

“Yeah, I am great… Are you sure?” Luca asked as he stared at her passionately, waiting for a response.

“Of course I am available now… do you need anything from me?” Anabelle asked curiously as Luca quickly took a chair and sat down, facing her.

“Yeah, there is something I want from you,” Luca replied as he took her hands in his and massaged them with his hand. She stared at him passionately, and she flinched backward.
