Chapter 47
Chapter 47
After the lesson by Sage, Yeva had been on her best behavior.
She had wanted to complain to her father so that he might help her get her revenge, but she had heard that her father was away. H e had taken a trip to some archeological dig so that he could dig up treasures with a team of archeologists, and she had no way of reaching him.
When the cats are away, the mice will play.
Sage had been busy while Braxton and Zane were not around. She had taken over most of their ongoing projects, and she had also made significant changes within the company by following the rule: “Those who comply will thrive, and those who resist will perish.’
There were many companies under the Norah Group, and each company was examined and overseen by a head of department. The workload was heavy, and the number of meetings increased as there was a need to monitor the progress of each of the projects.
“The rose-themed jewelry project had gamered good reactions on the intemet and the public since its launch. Several artists from Norah Entertainment had taken part in the marketing campaign. They had managed to engage their fans as well as get some of them to participate in the event. We have collected many love stories…”
The marketing director explained the progress of the project as the design team showcased their drafts. Sage was listening attentively while giving nods of approval.
In the era of the internet, the public’s involvement and participation were heavily emphasized. The participation of the netizens was directly proportional to the success of the project. Plus, the attractive prizes and the cash prizes further boosted public participation
“These several designs look good. Move on to develop the product and we can decide on the ambassador based on the product.”
Both the manager of the design team and the director of Norah Entertainment turned to stare at Sage. “Ma’am, do you mean that each design is to have its own ambassador?”
Sage did not even look up to meet their eyes. As she went through the designs, she said, “I heard that our artists have been bored due to a lack of work. Some have even contemplated leaving our company, haven’t they? Those who wish to leave can do so. Give those who wish to say the ambassador position.”
After the meeting ended, Sage retumed to her office and asked Hunter, “Have Yuriel Group averted the crises?”
She had heard the news regarding the Yuriel Group, but as she had meetings to attend, she had not gotten around to reading it herself. She only remembered it now.
“Yes.”
Hunter placed a cup of Earl Gray tea on Sage’s desk and said, “The donation the Group had made to the hospital’s charity has received quite a few compliments from the ministers. The media has been chumning out news on them, encouraging the public to pay attention to the contributions of the Yuriel Group rather than Mr. Jace’s personal affairs.”
With the compliments from the ministers, the Yuriel Group was able to salvage its tarnished reputation rather quickly. The price o f their stocks and shares had also increased, and they had quickly turned the situation around.
Gossip and compliments always went hand in hand.

Sage looked calm and unaffected. She knew that Jace was capable, and he would handle the matter quickly.
Her father had said to her once, “For a business to prosper, someone needs to be at the front lines leading the group while the rest have to rally behind them, supporting and following them. This is how a business succeeds.”
Jace’s grandfather was the former leader of the group, but he was already at an age where he should be thinking of retirement, but none of his sons were capable enough to lead the group. His eldest son, the one who was most suitable to lead the group-had gone into politics and had left the business.
His second and third sons were both good-for-nothings, and the only capable one was his only daughter, Freya Yuriel. Therefore, the future leader of the Yuriel Group would be Freya’s son- Jace Yuriel.
Jace, on the other hand, was on his way to Salem City.
Due to work, Jace had been around the country, but it was not often that he visited Salem. Once, while he was serving in the military, he had gone to Salem City on a secret mission.
Salem City was well known for its roses.
Every year in the month of May, Salem would organize a rose exhibition, and people from all around the world would come to view the roses. People would be walking around the city with roses in their
hands. He knew that Sage had adored roses very much. However, he had not known that Sage was from Salem City.
