Chapter 25
Chapter 25 The Turmoil in the Johnson Family Three Months Later
Three months had passed.
Cedric had been anxiously searching for Natalie, and the people around him were on edge every day.
One morning, Yuvan saw a photo in an international media outlet. It was just a profile shot, but he immediately recognized it as Natalie.
Without hesitation, he went to Cedric’s office and handed him the phone, saying, “There’s some news
about Madam.”
Cedric, who was about to sign some documents, froze for a moment before immediately putting down
the pen and taking the phone.
Three months…!
He had been searching for Natalie for three months, but he never expected that she would be able to hide so effectively. However, with just one glance at her photo, he became agitated and his eyes turned red.
At the same time, his phone rang.
Bang!
Cedric threw Yuvan’s phone against the wall. Yuvan felt sorry for his newly bought phone but didn’t dare
say anything.
Without bothering to check the caller ID, Cedric answered the call in an ice–cold tone, “What is it?”
“Come back immediately,” Rebecca demanded over the phone in an unpleasant tone.
Obviously, she had also seen the foreign news article.
Cedric closed his eyes. “I don’t have time for this!”
Without needing to think, he knew what kind of bombardment awaited him if he returned to Johnson
Manor now.
On the other end of the phone, Rebecca shouted angrily, “This time, no matter what you say, you must
divorce that woman!”
What was the current situation? Articles like ‘The Johnson Family’s Young Madam Has an Affair and
Requests Divorce from Mr. Johnson‘ were even more explosive than the previous articles on Natalie’s
divorce lawsuit
Three months ago, Verde City had been abuzz with rumors, and countless reporters wanted to interview Natalie. But she disappeared without a trace. No one could find her, and the rumors continued to spread
like wildfire.
Now that she had reappeared, it was in such a shocking manner.
Rebecca was unaware that her daughter–in–law, whom she had never approved of but had always been obedient in her presence, could have done such a thing privately!
Who
could have imagined that Natalie, who seemed so gentle and well–mannered, would commit such an act? This was even more disgraceful for the Johnson family than all the previous rumors about divorce. affairs, and cruelty, which had now been completely overturned.

Cedric was Verde City’s ideal man. Many families wanted the Johnson family as an ally, and women over the city were willing to marry him. But this perfect man’s wife had actually cheated on him and run
away with a foreigner!
“If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up.”
“Cedric, you dare?!”
Bang!
Another phone was smashed once again.
Yuvan considered himself to be a person with strong and professional ethics. However, at this moment, seeing Cedric like this, he couldn’t help but want to escape. When he saw the photo, he couldn’t believe it either. His boss‘ wife, who had disappeared for three months, had managed to let the world know about
her in this manner.
Cedric’s voice finally broke the silence in the spacious office, “Book a flight.”
In his heart, Yuvan silently prayed for Natalie.
In a bustling metropolis of economic significance overseas, Natalie was dressed in professional attire
and wearing a pair of high–heels. She was walking with a middle aged man who exuded an air of
Importance.
Everyone they encountered bowed respectfully, saying, “Good morning, sir.”
Natalie held some documents as she entered an office with the man.
As soon as the door closed, the man’s demeanor softened slightly. “Are you tired? Take a seat.”
“I’m fine,” Natalie said as she sat behind a desk and organized the documents she had brought with her.
Her seriousness resembled that of her mother. Natalie herself had never expected to enter the workforce so quickly after leaving Verde City. Property © NôvelDrama.Org.
The sound of a lighter flicking and the smell of smoke reached her senses, both of which she disliked. She looked at the man lighting a cigarette and said, “Uncle, the doctor told you to smoke less.”
The man smiled indulgently at her and pressed the unlit cigarette into an ashtray. “Okay, okay. I’ll do as
you say.
Natalie’s furrowed brow relaxed as she continued to organize the documents.
During these three months abroad, her life had dramatically transformed as if she were in a dream.
She had never imagined that she would still have an uncle alive in this world. When her parents passed away, her grandmother had also left this world after witnessing her daughter’s death. None of them had been able to leave any instructions for Natalie in their final moments.
The man, Stephen Jarvis, sighed. “If only Winnie had half your determination.
He was referring to Winona Jarvis, his daughter and also Natalie’s cousin. Winona was completely devoted to studying medicine and had no interest in running a business. Stephen found this situation troublesome but was somewhat comforted by Natalie’s achievements
“Alright, Uncle, I’m busy.
Since her uncle had found her, that was the phrase she had heard the most. Natalie felt like her ears were
going to fall off if she heard it again.
“Okay, you go ahead and-”
Bang!
Just as Stephen spoke, there was a thunderous crash, and the office door nearly fell off its hinges.
The secretary’s frightened voice accompanied the commotion, “I’m sorry, sir! This gentleman insisted on
seeing you and we couldn’t stop him!”
Natalie and Stephen looked towards the office door. A hint of coldness flashed in Natalie’s eyes when
she noticed who was there.
It was Cedric, and Yuvan was following behind him!
After several months of separation, Cedric still looked as impressive as ever, However, there was an
When Stephen saw it was Cedric, his expression darkened. “What’s going on?”
“Sir, 111 ask this geritleman to leave immediately.”
Trying to muster up her courage, the young secretary approached Cedric to escort him out. However, Yuvan, who had been standing behind Cedric, calmly moved forward.
Watalie stood up. “I’ll handle this.”
The young secretary looked at Natalie with gratitude, feeling like she had been granted a reprieve.
Just as they walked a few steps, Stephen called out sternly from behind, “Nat.”
Nat?!
Wher
Why was this man referring to her with such familiarity?!
When Cedric first saw the articles in foreign media outlets, he had doubts. Now, watching the interaction between the man and Natalie, his hands clenched into fists, his knuckles cracking audibly.
Natalie narrowed her eyes dangerously and stood in front of Cedric. “Shall we step outside together?”
Cedric’s eyes were filled with danger as he looked down at the petite woman before him. It seemed that she had been doing well over these past few months. While there was chaos in her home country, she had put on a few pounds here.
Stephen took a step forward and pulled Natalie behind him. “Stay behind me!”
His tone was domineering. In the eyes of everyone around them, Stephen was clearly protecting Natalie.
Cedric’s eyes flashed with a dangerous glint, and he raised his hand to strike Stephen. In the blink of an eye, a heavy, bone–shattering impact echoed through the room.
The sound of broken bones followed, and the scene descended into chaos!
