Dorothy glanced at Everett, who just shrugged. "And what about Karen saying you were abusive?"
"Abusive?! Me, abusive?!" Jeffrey's voice could've hit an octave higher in disbelief. "As if I have the courage for that!"
"Karen, what's going on?" Dorothy turned to Karen.
She pouted, "He did hit me. He pushed me a bit! How is that not abuse?" Dorothy was at her wit's end.
She waved her hands dismissively and headed to the door. "You two sort it out. I'll go get Felicity, can't leave her alone in the room. Maybe Abigaiband Langston are still up, they can help soothe her for a bit."
