Chapter 43: The Brother and Sister of Xiao Family
Xinghan Music Academy’s practice rooms were not large in size, and each floor had a different musical instrument. The room Song Qinghuan came to was the piano room. She looked up at her piano room’s door and saw a girl with a sweet smile.
It was the person who occupied Song Qinghuan’s normal practice room.
Although the instruments of each practice room were from the same manufacturer, everyone had their own semi-fixed room. Once a room was occupied, it would become a routine in the school to use that same room, and it would not be easy to change the room.
“Hello.” The girl walked over in a light yellow dress and smiled shyly. She looked at Song Qinghuan with a pair of sparkling eyes and said bashfully, “Sorry, have I disturbed you?”
Song Qinghuan squinted slightly, looked at the girl who was approaching her, and said with a smile, “No.”
The girl shyly handed out a book and looked at Song Qinghuan with a red face, “I like your song very much. I’m your fan. Can you sign this book for me?”
Song Qinghuan took her book and nodded, “Yes, do I need to write my wishes?”
The girl seemed to get shy easily, and she quickly said, “No need to trouble, a signature will do.”
Song Qinghuan made a few strokes and quickly wrote the two characters Qinghuan on her book.
The gaze at her was too intent, Song Qinghuan pretended not to notice and drew a sunny doll on the same page before passing it back, “I’m done.”
“Ah, thank you.” The girl introduced herself, “My name is Xiao Mingyue, and I’m glad to meet you.”
Song Qinghuan smiled and said nothing. Xiao Mingyue didn’t know what to say, “Please continue to practice, I won’t disturb you anymore.”
After talking, Xiao Mingyue picked up the book and left Song Qinghuan’s piano room before closing the door with a caring attitude.
After Xiao Mingyue left, Song Qinghuan continued to practice the piano. Xiao Mingyue stood outside and looked at Song Qinghuan in the piano room through the window before finally leaving with a sneer at the words written on the book.
Song Qinghuan seemed to be practising the piano, but in her mind, she recalled Xiao Mingyue from the previous life.
Xiao Mingyue, Xu Ningzhou’s admirer.
Despite her timid and cowardly appearance, this young girl was even more calculating and scheming than Song Shuyao.
In the last life, because Xu Ningzhou and Song Shuyao were together, she never stopped playing tricks on Song Shuyao. The arrogant girl Song Shuyao had suffered several losses because of this evil-minded girl. If Song Qinghuan didn’t see it with her own eyes, this girl’s innocent appearance could have deceived her.
But why did the girl show up in front of her?
Fan? Could this proud and arrogant Miss Xiao make a better excuse?
At the corner of Xinghan Music Academy, a light yellow skirt swayed. With a flicker from the white slender finger, the book signed by Song Qinghuan was tossed into the trash can. The girl wiped her fingers slowly with a wet tissue as if she had stained her hand with this book.
Here Song Qinghuan also started to pack her things before leaving the piano room and going to class.
…
After Xu Ningzhou returned to China, he initially had a leisurely life.
However, after what happened to the Li family, the news of his return to China was leaked out. So he had constant dinner parties, and countless people visited him every day.
Tonight was Xiao Mingyang’s dinner party. Xiao Mingyang’s situation in the Xiao family was not good. His father brought twin children back. The twins got the favor of the entire Xiao family, and it was clear that they returned to fight for the inheritance.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
Even though he didn’t like these dinner parties, Xu Ningzhou had to come to support Xiao Mingyang tonight.
In the hotel lounge, business people were making deals. Everyone was in suits and shiny shoes, and they were full of energy. Some were talking softly in groups while others were expanding their circle of friends by exchanging business cards with each other.
Xu Ningzhou was wearing a pair of suit trousers and a white shirt. He had wide shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. With his handsome face, he was already the center of attention on the occasion tonight.
But he seemed to ignore these facts. His long legs, which were wrapped in suit trousers, went straight to a sofa by the window of the lounge. He sat down and put the glass on the table in front of him without drinking. He then pushed it to the table center casually before unfastening the top two buttons. At the moment, he was sitting on the sofa in an extremely comfortable position.
Like a proud king.
Not far away, someone who did not know him was carefully asking about his identity. An old senior shook his glass and smiled, “This is the crown prince of the Xu family.”
Xu family, in Wan’ning City, was there any other Xu family?
Of course it was the Xu family which put people in awe.
“Why haven’t I heard of him before?”
“That’s because he has been abroad all these years, and he just came back not too long ago.”
“He dealt a blow to the troublemaking Li family after he came back.”
“Wow…”
The people who heard the news suddenly showed more awe in their eyes.
“This crown prince has been a demon since he was a child. Do everything you can to please him, avoid bringing trouble to yourself.”
“I will! Thank you for reminding me.”
Xu Ningzhou turned a deaf ear to these discussions. He kneaded his eyebrows, and apparently could not sit still.
Xiao Mingyang, who came back after a round of conversation, sat down on the sofa beside Xu Ningzhou. As the host tonight, he drank a lot of wine. The alcohol had already got into his head at this moment.
Xiao Mingyang touched the glass that Xu Ningzhou placed on the table and said, “Thank you.”
Xu Ningzhou opened his eyes and smiled. He sat up and stretched his arms to pick up his wine glass. After two people had a drink, Xu Ningzhou asked, “Are you alright?”
Xiao Mingyang tugged on the neck tie and gave a wry smile before saying, “It can’t be better tonight!”
Xu Ningzhou nodded his head and asked no more.
He would never hesitate about helping his friend.
However, if his bro didn’t want to speak, Xu Ningzhou wouldn’t probe into others’ secrets. He was a sensible man.
“I’m going to the bathroom.” Xiao Mingyang put down the glass in his hand, and when he got up, his footsteps were a little unsteady. He almost fell, and Xu Ningzhou quickly helped.
Xu Ningzhou joked, “Do you need help to go to the restroom?”
Xiao Mingyang pushed him away with a smile while scolding, “Get out of here. Why don’t you say you’d help me pee?”
“Tut.” Xu Ningzhou sat back. “It’s not impossible if you want this.”
Xiao Mingyang raised a middle finger towards Xu Ningzhou and walked away with his clothes straightened. His posture showed no drunkenness at all.
Xu Ningzhou shook his head with a smile.
However, soon a black cell phone rang on the sofa, Xu Ningzhou looked at the vibrating cell phone. It was Xiao Mingyang’s, and it probably fell out when he sat down.
