Chapter 163
"Who was behind it all?" Dustin asked.
"I don't know," said Brennan and shook his head.
Dustin scowled and was just about to gesture to Blake to continue his killing when Brennan cried out anxiously, "I really don't know! I'm not the only one. Most of the people who participated in the operation don't know either. That person never showed his face. We only know that the order was passed down through the ranks. We don't even know who exactly gave the order and who led everyone through it.
"Many of the people who took part were drawn in by a bounty post on the global black market. We received a notification and gathered in one place before doing what we needed to do."
Dustin narrowed his eyes.
The mastermind had acted with caution.
Even if he made use of the special privilege given to him as the King of Hades to look into the global black market, the bounty was put up more than twenty years ago, and he might not be able to find any clues.
"The bounty was put up anonymously. The mastermind tempted us with the Fox family's treasure and riches, and many people joined in. There were a total of seventy-six forces of power. Some people from the underground and martial artists joined in too.
"That night, everyone charged into the Fox family with the same purpose. No matter how strong the Fox family was, they could not defend against all of us. When the sun rose, we divided the riches among us and parted ways. We never knew who the others were and never contacted each other again."
The information Brennan provided was practically worthless.
Numerous people participated in the destruction of the Fox family, but they did not know who the other was, so it would be impossible for Dustin to find the people who were involved more than twenty years ago.NôvelDrama.Org © content.
Even so, he still had to look into this and kill all those who were involved.
"Is that all you were hiding? Was that really worth sacrificing your family members?" Dustin scowled.
If he had not killed one of his grandchildren, Brennan would even not have revealed this much.
"When we left the Fox family, everyone was told that if we ever revealed any of the details of the incident, we would be killed!" Brennan's face turned grim.
“After the Fox family was destroyed, a man called Lucas Wyatt kept investigating the case. He was a powerful man, and one family was forced to tell him what had happened. A few days later, that family was destroyed, and all of its branches were wiped out as well. Even the people who knew them were killed!"
The Panther Gang and the West family felt chills running down their spines.
They had heard of such incidents where numerous people and groups connected to them were wiped out entirely, but it rarely happened,
A family with three of its generation killed was practically extinct.
Whoever was capable of killing three generations of a powerful family overnight seemed truly terrifying.
Even Dustin's Hell Hall could hardly pull off such a feat. It was no wonder Brennan was so terrified.
"Do you have anything of actual value to share?" asked Dustin in displeasure.

He could get this much information through Hell Hall himself.
"I know who beheaded your father!" Brennan cried out.
"Tell me!" Dustin's face turned fierce.
"There are quite a lot of swordsmen in Lovellia, but only a handful have mastered it. Only three people can make that sort of cut!" Brennan whispered. "One of those three is the killer."
He revealed the three names to Dustin. All of them were famous people in the province.
Dustin made a mental note of their names and would pay them a visit later to find out who had killed his father.
"I have one last, most valuable piece of information!" Brennan's face turned serious. "If I tell you, you must spare my family and kill me alone!" He attempted to negotiate with Dustin.
