Chapter 1751
Chapter 1751
However, everything spiraled out of control.
Tyler knew his behavior was despicable, but he could not control his emotions.
When he loved, every cell within him longed for her. Every time he came to see her, he told himself it would be the last
time. However, he found himself appearing at her house more and more frequently.
Tyler knew he was in trouble, and it would not be long before he returned to his former self.
Vicky was like a drug to him. Even though he knew that contact with her was toxic, he could not bring himself to let go.
He knew she was pregnant with his child, and his most primal desires began to surge, making it impossible for him to
resist the urge to make her stay.
Vicky listened quietly to his confession, and her heart ached.
She could not fight off the urge to hold him; her touch was firm and comforting.
He only mentioned a few words about the time he regained consciousness, but Vicky knew he had endured a lot of pain.
The fact that he was alive was a miracle.
“What was on your mind when you fell into the sea?” Vicky asked.
“That I had to stay alive,” he said. “I had to survive and find you so I can continue to blackmail you into staying with me.”
Vicky was momentarily speechless. After a brief pause, she called out, “Tyler.” Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Tyler lowered his gaze to meet hers; her beautiful eyes sparkled in the warm-toned light.
“I’ve been waiting for you.” She looked into his eyes and enunciated each word. “I love you, and that has never changed.”
…
10 months later.
A restless man paced back and forth outside the operating room.
Aurora, who grew dizzy from his pacing, interfered. “Tyler, can you please sit quietly for a moment?”
At this moment, Tyler no longer looked as emaciated as before and fully regained his peak appearance.
He ignored Aurora’s words, his eyes fixed on the operating room where the surgical lights had just come on intently.
He continued to pace until the door to the operating room was pushed open, and Tyler strode forward. In the nurse’s arms
was a swaddled baby, ready to be handed to Tyler. However, he completely ignored the baby and walked straight to Vicky,
who had just been wheeled out of the operating room.
Due to the abnormal fetal position of the second child, this delivery had been a Cesarean section.
The nurse was slightly taken by surprise. “Um…”
Tyler only had eyes for Vicky and ignored his child completely.
Finally, when Vicky was pushed into the recovery room, she opened her eyes and saw a familiar face before her.
“Vicky, how are you feeling?” Tyler asked in a tense voice.
“Alright.” Vicky’s eyelashes fluttered gently, and she whispered, “Is it a boy or a girl?”
Tyler paused for a moment, then said, “I don’t know.”
Just then, Aurora entered the room holding the baby with a smile, and said, “Congratulations, Vicky. You’ve given birth to a
big, healthy boy!”
Upon hearing this news, all colors were drained from Tyler’s face.
Vicky was also surprised and asked, “Another boy?”
Aurora had always liked boys, so she happily nodded and said, “Yes!”
“Really?” Vicky glanced at Tyler and could not help but laugh. “Another son, huh?”
Tyler had bought a bunch of girl’s items and even chosen a girl’s name before the baby was born. To his surprise, alas, it
was a boy.
Vicky looked at Tyler and smiled. “It doesn’t matter whether it’s a daughter or a son. What’s important is that it’s our child.”
They would continue to be happy together anyway.
